Review: While this book does show on some of the designs a diagram showing how the patterns are constructed I found it much too sketchy to really follow out how they were made. I ended up buying a companion Dover book titled 'Celtic Art:The Methods of Construction' to get a better sense of how to make these patterns step-by-step. One good thing about this book is that the source for each design shown is documented. Buy this book and the one I listed above and you'll have plenty of designs to use in your own artwork.
