Summary: Very instructive with short description
Review: Over 200 authentic motifs from Java, Bali, Irian Jaya, and etc., including Batik, Ikat, Wayang Kulit (shadow puppet), Topeng (masks) designs. Illustrations are all black and white, copyright-free. Each motif has a short description, such as "Rakshasa head gold earring motif, Java, 13th- 16th centuries." Usually this descriptions are quite short, just tells you where or what, still it's informative enough to show you the name of familiar motifs.
