Summary: A Hunka Hunka Freakin' Weirdos...And Some Decent Folks Too
Review: "The King And I" is a perfect book to lay out on your coffee table and have friends, neighbors, family and strangers pick it up and wonder just what the heck is this world coming to. Chock full of photos of Elvis impersonators--some good, some not so good, and some just downright scary, this book is a perfect conversation piece. From guys like Julian Campo, who thinks he has a spiritual connection to Elvis to guys like Frank Ianaggi, who knows that he can't really be Elvis, this book has it all.

Some of these guys take their passion a little too seriously, but for the most part, this book shows you that some folks just really love what they do. I guess that if Elvis makes getting through your day a little easier, it's okay with me. I'm not going to sit here and knock these guys for doing something a little out of the ordinary, because they are working, and I'm sure many of them are cleaning up in the money department.

In closing, get this book if you want a taste of life outside of ordinaryville, which isn't so bad. It's fun, it's silly, and you can get it at a really good price. I picked my copy up at a closeout store for ninety-nine cents. It was money well-spent.
