Rating: Summary: Almost 400 Pages of BEAUTIFUL Nudes - Wow !!! Review: All fans of the DOMAI website and their "simple" style of nude photography will absolutely love this book. In fact, anyone who enjoys naturally beautiful models posing completely nude in equally unpretentious settings will find something to rave about here. 38 different girls are featured, each so radiant they could easily have been the central star of this publication with all 368 pages devoted to just them. But we are totally overwhelmed by the depth of material presented here from such famed photographers as Sergey Babneko, Petter Hegre, Martin Krake, Alexander Feodorov, Ale Zhukov, Igor Amirov, Oleg, Ponochovny, Dmitiri Kuleshov, Andrey Razin, Sergey Goncharov, Jaromir Plesko, Mikhail Pogorelov, and even the publisher, Eolake Stobblehouse. For those interested in the philosophical approach to the nude that Stobblehouse champions at his site, www. domai.com, I strongly urge all to seek out that website and read more there. But, in a nutshell, it's about showcasing the natural beauty of the model without any added distractions - no fancy hairstyles or makeup, no elaborate photosets, no clothing, and even the photography itself is arranged to showcase the beauty of the girl and not the technical mastery of the photographer. But make no mistake, these are pictures of perfection, and as famed photographer Craig Morey says in the book "..the bodies and faces are perfect, and the world is a better place while I'm looking at these beautiful women." This is a large, fabulous, thrilling collection of nude photography. It's difficult to see how anyone who is a fan of this genre will not be absolutely and serenely flabbergasted with this marvelous book.
Rating: Summary: Close, but no cigar Review: First of all kudos for this book dedicated to the most wonderful creature on earth.. Gosh they all are so beautiful!. Now the downside (wish there was none). Being a long time Domai web site fan, I was expecting a better composition overall on this printed edition (bigger format, variety in shot selection, close-ups and so on). Prefer David Naz ("Panties") book instead.
Rating: Summary: Just simply beautiful Review: Go North and Jack Gilbert have said all there is to say. I wish to add my endorsement.
It is a rare and wonderful thing to have so much pure beauty between a pair of covers.
Rating: Summary: Inspiration in between two covers... Review: I got my copy of this book in the post last week and I'm not disappointed. For anyone who has been to Domai.com and followed the work of the models and photographers showcased there, this book is a nice way to take that experience and move it from your browser to your bookshelf.
Some of the favourites amongst the models are shown , taken from their existing portfolios online and some new material, as well as some new faces not seen before (or yet).
The book is not Erotic. Nor is it Fine Art Nude. Nor is it a naturalist lifestyle book. It is simply natural beauties in nature... No plastic barbie dolls. No lewd expressions. No obscene poses or gestures.
The element that makes so many of the photos so enjoyable is the expressions on the girls' faces. Their smiles. Their laughter. The sense of movement created from hair being thrown back. It conveys a sense of joy and delight and freedom. The sort of experience we all could use, once in a while.
I recommend this book and the accompanying website to male and female alike, hoping that you too will share these experiences.
Rating: Summary: Nude Photography at it's best! Review: I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of nude photography. The girls are absolutely stunning in everyway.
The photography is top notch and the girls are photographed in beautiful locals. If you love to see young girls in the nude this is a must have!
Rating: Summary: Nice, very nice Review: The emphasis is natural. The girls are all very attractive, but don't conform to the supermodel/playmate type of "beauty" hyped by the western media. Most of the girls are eastern Europeans, so if you are into this group (like myself), this is a keeper.
The photography is generally excellent (again, in natural settings), though nothing that really stands out compared to others in this category.
Only downside: I wish the book/pictures is larger in length and width (pictures are only about 6x4"). So to the author/publisher: increase the size for the next edition (we know there are many more pictures) and we don't mind paying more for a bigger book.
Rating: Summary: Excellent photos, but a but uneven Review: The photos are of excellent quality and there are certainly plenty of photographs in this book. A wide range of models and photographers are showcased and for a rather small in size (dimensions) book, it makes up for it in the number of pages. The quibble I have with the book is that there is a certain repetition in the posing of the beautiful models, and each model is not given the same number of shots. Each model seemed to be in a single theme setting; all on the beach, or all among trees, among grasses, etc. Some of the models get much more space than others. Only one set of photographs is by Stobblehouse himself. I was surprised to find myself thinking repetition when viewing the book, but that is what I felt. I wanted to see more from some, and less from others. That is what stops me from giving it five stars. The poses are all taken outside, and show an excellent use of light and shadow.
Rating: Summary: exquisite Review: this books is awesome -- exactly the kind of photography I would like to become involved! I was hoping for the best, from the reviews, and I got what I asked for! The models are beautiful, non-glam, the settings are low-key. This is one of my favorite 'nude' books, ever owned!
