Review: I purchased this book thinking it was a biography, but to my surprise it was mostly a collection of pictures, paintings of Erik and some of his scores that attempt to show you the various stages of the composers life. From the Mister Pauper to the Erik who is Satierik. If your looking for an in depth biography of the composer you've come to the wrong place. Nonetheless an excellent collection of Satie pictures and paintings.
