Summary: Five Star resource for Paper Artists!
Review: I'm sure professional graphic designers are well familiar with this excellent book, but if you are a rubber stamper, card maker, or paper artist on the hunt for fresh ideas, this book is a "must have" resource! It is one of the best idea generators I have purchased, and I have purchased quite a few. The crisp, clear and close-up photos are attractive and inspiring. There is little text and little explanation on how these paper pieces were created, but a well done photo IS worth a thousand words in this case! There are numerous book forms represented which are exciting and fresh. For example, several double-bound books are shown (Books that were wire bound along both edges, creating a three panel book!). The neatest one, IMHO, is the triangle bound down the center which features a brushed metal cover. There are dynamic and different layouts by the score, including new ways to look at paper direction when composing a layout. There are several accordian books featured which are elegant and would be easy to make! I wanted to rush right out and try some of the winning projects shown here. Sorry if I'm gushing, but I've looked at far too many "cutesy" card making and book binding tomes lately to do anything else! I say, RUN, do NOT walk and get this book!
