Review: I first saw this set after returning from Florence and was delighted to find the highest quality reproductions of Donatello's work that I had seen. Further examination showed that that this four volume set reviewed sculpture in both breadth and depth, an astonishing success far beyond coffee-table status. In addition, the set has turned out to be a special gift greatly appreciated by all who love art, whether or not sculpture is a special interest to them.
