Summary: A No-Nonsense Book about Feng shui
Review: If you have to buy another book on feng shui, this is it!!! I've read dozens of books on Feng Shui but this by far is the easiest to read, the best book for beginners. I've attended seminars on feng shui too and they were oftentimes too technical and therefore made initial practice of feng shui intimidating. this book by ms. lindsay is both engaging and inspiring. Once i started reading i couldn't put it down. Although there are only few illustrations to support her descriptions, ms. lindsay's easy-to-follow suggestions on how to improve balance in ones home/abode or workplace more than makes up for the lack of visual props. She should write more books - she's a gifted writer.

Summary: What kind of beginner are you?
Review: It is a true beginner's book. No previouse knowledge of fengshui is necessary. It is difficult to review a beginner's book because after you read this book you are not a beginner any more. In my humble opinion, there are two types of beginners. The type one is the scientific students type. They want to know the basic theory before they conduct an experiment. They are usually right once they take action. If you are a scientific student type beginner, this book is way too shallow. The other type of beginner is curiouse child type. They love to try stuff and they might make mistakes before they really get the idea. If the elements, Kua and funny Chinese characters give you headaches, you will love this book. Use the examples as you see fit, jump the pages or anything you do not like. You will not get lost through the book. It is a comfortable book. This book is featured by fengshuihelp.com.
