Review: I know the italian edition, that I think is more complete than the english one, it has an excellent catalog about the work of Guido, including some old copies, attributions and new discoveries. It has also some very good color reproductions of the pictures, with most of them in black and white. It has also a list of the places where the paintings are exhibited, and the history and previous owners of most of them. Dr. Stephen Pepper is one of the best speciallists in Italian picture of the XVII century and his work is most important for somebody interested in Guido Reni and in Italian Painting
