Rating: Summary: Funny and Useful! Review: I saw this book at a local bookstore and had to pick it up as an early Father's Day gift for my dad. Kenneth Karpinski uses humor to pass along clothing and style advice to men. The tone of the book is joking, not negative or condescending, so no one should get offended. This book is the perfect gift for any man in your life!
Rating: Summary: Not really worth the money, but it's funny in a way. Review: If it was a third of it's price it would be OK.
Too short, too predictable and really not much of a surprise...
Tips like:
Do not spit.
Do not chew tobacco.
Do not wear suspenders and a belt (at the same time).
are examples of the "mistakes" mentioned, (c'mon... we are not that stupid...)
Two stars instead of one just because some of the text is written in a very funny (and sparse) style, quite american too...
but not woodyallenesque or twainesque mind, more like bobhopesque plain/simple humour...
If given as a gift to a friend he will probably stop talking to you...
Enough. NOT WHAT I THOUGHT IT COULD HAVE BEEN, A SADLY MISSED OPORTUNITY.
