Review: The wisdom of spending money on this might be questionable as the book could, at least in theory, be replicated from the .mf sources for Computer Modern (and be more up-to-date in the process), but the time and effort that would be expended is more than the cost of the book. For anyone who's still interested in creating fonts with Metafont, this volume is essential as a model as the most extensive use of the program.
