Review: This book contains more than 200 pages filled with drawings in black and white of Indian symbols and designs. With this there are well written texts on the history of different North American tribes and a few very nice mythological stories. It's a pitty that the designs found on woven fabric and 3D objects like pottery are also drawn instead of photographed. This perhaps improves the clearness of the designs, but it also erases the characteristics of the material. Another pitty is that the book is entirely in black and white. However, the Indian designs and symbols are very charming and make this book a must-have for people who seek some inspiration for their own artwork.
