Summary: Cirigliano gives us the first Modern Art lexicon!
Review: This is a very important book for everyone participating in the world of fine art today. Not only is "Mirror, Mirror On the Easel" informative to both the student and purchaser of art, but also, it's wry humor of the art scene is a direct commentary about the bizzare world that it is. 'Sure to be a valuable addition to any art critic's self, this book seems all too appropriate too, to be part of the cirriculum in college art classes. Professors and reviewers, please check this one out. Caesar Cirigliano(AWS)is one of the last, great undiscovered painters of the last two centuries. Well alive and in his nineties, he still teaches, lectures, paints, and writes today. I know that this work, although likely to be quite obscure to dummies is a fresh and authentic, yet terribly human, analysis of the artist as a fallen man. And I don't just say that because Caesar is my grandfather. Check out his wonderful satirical illustrations of the likes of Picasso, Mondrian, and others. See Janus Publishing to find out more on the author.

Review: This is a very important book for everyone participating in theworld of fine art today. Not only is "Mirror, Mirror On theEasel" an informative satire for both the student and purchaser of art, but also, its wry humor is a direct commentary about the bizzare world that the art scene has become today. 'Sure to be a valuable addition to any art critic's self, this book is all too appropriate to be on the desktop of college art classrooms everywhere. Professors and reviewers, please check this one out. Caesar Cirigliano(AWS) is one of the last, great undiscovered painters of the last two centuries. He started drawing as a newspaper illustrator and now paints in both watercolor and oil. Well alive and in his nineties, today he teaches, lectures, paints, and continues to write and rewrite illustrated books, he hopes to publish. I know that this work (although likely to be quite obscure to dummies) is a fresh and authoritative jab in the rib to the art world bourgesoise. At times, the "dictionary" shows a terribly human understanding of the successful artist laughing at the world of the fallen man. I don't just say, "This book rocks!" because Caesar is my grandfather--Check out his wonderful, satirical illustrations of some of the likes of Picasso, Mondrian, Pollock and others, to know why this man can afford to fashion such opinions about modern art as he does. See Janus Publishing to find out more on the author and purchase this book at Amazon.com today!
