Summary: Guess Who's Back...Back Again? Mia's Back...Tell a Friend!!
Review: In the 4th installment of the Princess Diaries Series, Mia is in Genovia, taking charge and doing what's needed to be done in the country. But then, this whole parking meter thing comes up, and she goes back to the USA. With an upcoming date with Michael, Mia is thrilled, until her grandmother tells her she is going to a Black and White Ball the same night! This book had humor and pizzaz, and I would definatly recomend it to anyone who is read the PD series!!!

Summary: HUGE and utter disappointment.
Review: This book is revolting! It has neither the spunk or sparkle that was shown in Princess in Love or the original the Princess Diaries. I was quite looking forward to the fourth book, and bought it immediately when I heard that it was out, spent most of the week reading it, and became utterly disappointed in Meg Cabot. ...

Summary: Not The Best In The Series, But Still A Winner!
Review: I currently finished all of the Princess Diaries Series. I have to say, they are one of my favorite series to read. I love the characters, the real life teenage problems, and the humor. However, I must say that book 4 was a bit disappointing. I did enjoy reading it of coarse, how could one not! But I felt that it lacked the certain flair and character development that the last 3 books succeeded well in. The book begins with Mia in Genovia on Winter Break. She has just as many mishaps and problems there as she does in New York. She has meeting upon meeting, and dinner after dinner to attend. Which upon reading the first 50 pages of the book is all that is read. However, when she returns to New York, AEHS, and her friends, the mood of the book begins to feel more like the last 3 books. Her mother in is in the mists of pregnacy. She has just begun Algebra II. And on top of that she is now worring if Michael "loves her" or if he's "in love with her." And if that isn't enough for a 14 year old teenage girl, imagine your Grandmother trying to fix you up with a homeless prince! Yes, although this was not my favorite book in Meg Cabot's Princess Diaries Series, it was still amusing and funny. I smiled and laughed at the sweet Michael and Mia parts, which by far made the novel complete! I highly recommend that if you have enjoyed the series to read this one as well. It may not live up to the others, but its still a good read. And for those of you that keep up with the Princess Diaries Series, watch for the 4 1/2 installment (yes weird I know) called Project Princess. Which is scheduled to hit book stores sometime in late July! ...

Summary: The Best in the Series!
Review: I have read all of the "Princess Diaries" books and seen the movie, and I have to say that not only are the books the better of the titles, but this book is the best in the series of the books! It is funny, romantic, and deep. Not as thick as you might think, this novel is a fairly easy read that won't make you bored. If you are looking for a series that is fantastic on many levels, check out the "Princess Diaries" novels. You won't be able to put them down!

Summary: Disappointment
Review: After reading the first three books in the series, I was so excited that Meg Cabot was coming out with another Princess Diaries book! More brain candy! Well, once I got it, I was extreamly disappointed. Mia rambles on and on about how much she misses michale, and on and on about the same four topics. BORING! I couldn't finish it because the plot wasn't going anywhere, and it was mostly rambling. I wouldn't suggust this book to anyone, but I have and will continue to reccomend the other books in the series to others. Will I continue to read the series? Only if Cabot hooks the reader within the first fifty pages, which Princess in Waiting certianly did not.

Summary: Great..but not as great as the first 3
Review: This book had the same old humor and funny plotline as the other 3, but mia changed when she gets worried too much about her relationships, and what about the other old characters? But it made me LOL, just like the other books.

Summary: Good
Review: This was a good book, because Princess Mia seems so real.. and the episodes in Genovia are funny. My only problem with it is that Mia seems kind of stupid-just, well, worrying to much about boyfriends. It's kind of ridiculous to call your boyfriend every night long distance from Genovia...think about the phone bill! But other than that, I like Mia, Micheal is nice, Grandmere is, as usual, absolutely horrifying, and Lilly is..well, Lilly. You should buy this book.

Summary: Princess in Waiting Review
Review: I rated this book a one because I was very disappointed with it! I have written all the others in this series, and although I liked them while I was reading them, I now dislike them. I find the main character to be extremely selfish and inconsiderate of others. This book is nothing more than a teenage girl whining about her life! I would not recommend this book to any of my fellow peers unless they wished to suffer!

Summary: Book Review for Princess in Waiting
Review: Would you like to be separated from your boyfriend for 32 days? That¡¯s what happened to Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo, also known as Mia. Princess in Waiting by Meg Cabot is a story about a princess that doesn¡¯t give up to go out on her first date with her boyfriend.

Mia, the main character, doesn¡¯t give up no matter what happens. Also, she always tries to make everyone happy. Mia has brown hair, brown eyes, she is very tall, and she is 14 years old. She also hates algebra.

At the beginning, the story takes place in a palace in Genovia, which made Mia go crazy because she couldn¡¯t talk to Michael, her boyfriend, that often. The rest of the story takes place in New York, and when she arrives, Michael asks Mia out on their first date. However, as always, Grandmere ruined it. In case you don¡¯t know, grandmere is how Mia calls her grandmother. She tells her that she has to go to a black-and-white ball on Friday night, which is the same day as she has to go to Screaming Room with Michel, their first date. But at the same time, Mia is really worried because she thinks Michael will break up with her just because she can¡¯t go out with him. She is also worried because she figures out that she doesn¡¯t have a special talent. That¡¯s when Lily, her best friend, tells her she does have a talent, so Mia spends all her time trying to figure out her talent. But of course at the end everything turns out great, better than Mia thought it would have.

I really liked this book. Well, to be honest, I loved it! I think is great specially because this book is not boring at all. Not even at the beginning! I also read this book almost at once and I also love to read about Mia, the main character of this book, now that I read all the books of Princes Diaries. I also think girls will like this book because is about a princess and quiet different than the other ones. I think the boys will not even want to open this book because is about a princess, but if they read it, I¡¯m pretty sure they will not hate it. But still, if anyone gets a chance to read this book, they should read it!

Summary: Great book, funny and entertaining, but a little confusing
Review: I've read some of the reviews here and it seems most readers don't seem to like this book as much as the other ones. However, I personally liked this book but maybe I'm just easy to please.
The book starts off with Mia being in Genovia during her Christmas break and her formal introduction to the Genovian populace. After a disastrous televised address where Mia inadvertently starts a debate over whether or not to install parking meters in Genovia, Mia attends all the political/royal activities planned by Grandmere and gets lectured by her grandmother for having veered off course from her prepared speech. Between acting like a princess and being tortured by Grandmere, Mia obsesses over her newly acquired boyfriend Michael (whom she has had a crush on forever), recording the days since she last saw him and then the days when she will see him again. Finally Mia returns to New York to more princess lessons from Grandmere on account of the whole parking-meter thing, more Algebra, and finally gets to see all her friends again, but best of all, her boyfriend. Just when Mia thought she was to finally have a date with Michael (seeing Star Wars at a screening room), she finds out her grandmother had other plans in mind: She wants Mia to attend a black and white ball hosted by one of Grandmere's old rivals, Countess Trevanni. Mia does not know what to do. Fancy shmancy ball or corny date with boyfriend (no offense but star wars??)? In the end, everything turns out fine and I think the end is probably the best part!!!
Cabot's writing matches the other Princess Diaries books portraying Mia as a witty, sarcastic, anxious, misfit teen who is out to conquer and change the world, whether they are ready for her or not. What I really liked about this book was that everybody seemed to have a goal in this book. Lilly is determined to meet with the produces of the movie based on Mia's life (and she does and gets a very exciting offer), Michael has decided to start a band (along with Boris), Tina has to get over her boyfriend Dave, and Mia... well Mia has a bunch: achieve self-actualization, find out her secret talent, and learn how to be a princess etc... It was a little disappointing to see some favorite characters fading out such as Mr. Giannini and Mia's mom and dad and Lana. I understand not all characters can be present in a book but Mia's mom is sort of more important than Prince Rene, no offense. But I liked the introduction of Prince Rene, hopefully he'll show up in future books (including with Sebastiano, Rene made up for Sebastiano's total exclusion from the book... heck i wish Hank would show up too lol)
For those of you who found Mia to be repulsive and too self-centered with her own life, guess what??? That is completely normal!!! EVERYBODY is like that when they are a teenager!! I'm like that too, sometimes I don't think about others and yes I may act like the world revolves around me!!! It's how we are (i'm a teenager!), we kind of forget about our parents as we start leading our own lives complete with romance, friends, school, work, and other activities. I mean come on, give me a break. Mia is here to show us none of can be perfect, even though she tries to be. Do you expect her to be selfless and always think of other people??? I like her the way she is, it's good to know that I'm not alone in thinking the world seems to be against me sometimes!!
