Summary: Hits the Nail on the Head!
Review: This book hits the nail on the head! We must not forget the past and learn from it or it is destined to be repeated. All this talk of America the Imperialists sounds all too familiar from the Reagan era. Remember how Reagan was supposed to start WW3 and end the world?? Well, look how it turned out...He cleaned up Carter's mess and lifted America back up and changed the world.
The Democrats, if they have their way, will return the country to our weakened ways of old......

Summary: Deliver Us From Evil
Review: The book was very insightful. The danger ie (evil) of having certain groups in power is very real. A very famous individual once stated that if the blind lead the blind they both will fall in a ditch. Freedom can be abused! One cannot simply say that becaue I am free I can do anything I want. With freedom comes responsibility. Freedom without responsibility is anarchy. Apparently the liberals think that if they can desire it, it should happen and what the majority of the country thinks doesn't matter. Liberals are the spoiled children of our time. Lacking moral guidance and accountability for their actions, they are not happy until they have their way. Liberalism unchecked will follow the path of many civilizations that started out with high ideals and ended up corrupted by people who have only the desire to serve their lust. It would seem that at no time do liberals actually consided what is good for the country. They have ignored the majorities wishes forcing their ideals (abortion, homosexuality, etc) on others all the while never giving place to the agruments of others. This is a great book. One that is very sorely needed at this time. Mr Hannity should be honored by his courage to stand against evil.

Summary: A review from someone who read this book
Review: As a neutral person who actually sat down to and READ this book (unlike some of those below who assume things from what they hear from friends and whatnot), Mr Hannity's insights and ideas are well thought out and he makes a solid argument for conservatism and his beleif system. There is nothing offensive in this book, its just a well read, well educated American giving his thoughts on today's world. Like it or not, its free speech at its best. This man is passionate about something and it really comes across in Let Freedom Ring.

Summary: Hannity, A Man for All Troglodytes
Review: I scanned a friends' copy and my conclusion is as follows.

"If Jesus came back and saw what's going on in his name, he'd never stop throwing up. --Maureen Dowd, 02.26.04

Summary: What the??
Review: I'm stunned that a perfectly good tree had to be hacked down to print the "monkey chatter" that is this book. If you are a fan of this man, let me just say, that you don't need Sean. You can make up your own mind on political issues. Is it really necessary to listen to him defame the Clintons, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, John Edwards, Howard Dean and every other Democrat? If you have any pride whatsoever, don't let anyone think for yourself. I used to be a huge Rush Limbaugh fan and believed everything the man said. Then one day I woke up, I relized that Democrats are not wrong on EVERY ISSUE!! I wouldn't consider myself a democrat or republican and I am now wise enough to get my news/information from a number of different sources. If you really want the truth, listen to conservatives, and liberals to understand the arguements, then go elsewhere and get the TRUTH.
I really hope you take this advice, I'm being as sincere as I possible can. Nothing is more liberating than being able to make up my own mind on issues, not have people like Sean Hannity make it for me.

Review: Please tell me this book is a joke?

Summary: So Right ON!
Review: Sean does it again!!! He is NOT afraid of the Mamby-Pamby liberals who want to apologize to the world for being AMERICANS! You go boy!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A nice smash on the liberal left!!
Review: I just recently found Sean Hannity on the radio. As a former avid Michael Savage listener, I find Hannity's insights to be very refreshing. I bought this book last weekend and have not been able to put it down ever since. Hannity shows, with documented PROOF, the liberal assault on our country and the lies, manipulation, and dishonor that comes with the liberal way of thinking. If you're looking for a book that tells the honest TRUTH, this book is for you.

Summary: Are You Really A Neoconservative?
Review: Congratulations! You just spent $20 on a well-executed neoconservative propaganda piece. Painting dissenters to a political movement as "unpatriotic", "treasonous", and in this case, equating them with terrorists goes back 1000 years. It was used quite effectively in giving rise to the 3rd Reich. So the question I ask of you is this, are you really a "neoconservative"? And, do you know what it means to be a neoconservative? Let me tell you what this is...

A "Neoconservative" believes that the United States should not be ashamed to use its unrivaled power - forcefully if necessary -to promote its values around the world. Some even speak of the need to cultivate a US empire. Neoconservatives believe modern threats facing the US can no longer be reliably contained and therefore must be prevented, sometimes through preemptive military action. Most neocons believe that the US has allowed dangers to gather by not spending enough on defense and not confronting threats aggressively enough. One such threat, they contend, was Saddam Hussein and his pursuit of weapons of mass destruction. Since the 1991 Gulf War, neocons relentlessly advocated Mr. Hussein's ouster. Most neocons share unwavering support for Israel, which they see as crucial to US military sufficiency in a volatile region. They also see Israel as a key outpost of democracy in a region ruled by despots. Believing that authoritarianism and theocracy have allowed anti-Americanism to flourish in the Middle East, neocons advocate the democratic transformation of the region, starting with Iraq. They also believe the US is unnecessarily hampered by multilateral institutions, which they do not trust to effectively neutralize threats to global security. The original neocons were a small group of mostly Jewish liberal intellectuals who, in the 1960s and 70s, grew disenchanted with what they saw as the American left's social excesses and reluctance to spend adequately on defense. Many of these neocons worked in the 1970s for Democratic Senator Henry "Scoop" Jackson, a staunch anti-communist. By the 1980s, most neocons had become Republicans, finding in President Ronald Reagan an avenue for their aggressive approach of confronting the Soviet Union with bold rhetoric and steep hikes in military spending. After the Soviet Union's fall, the neocons decried what they saw as American complacency. In the 1990s, they warned of the dangers of reducing both America's defense spending and its role in the world. What is the difference between a neoconservative and a conservative? Liberals first applied the "neo" prefix to their comrades who broke ranks to become more conservative in the 1960s and 70s. The defectors remained more liberal on some domestic policy issues. But foreign policy stands have always defined neoconservatism. Where other conservatives favored détente and containment of the Soviet Union, neocons pushed direct confrontation, which became their raison d'etre during the 1970s and 80s.

Today, both conservatives and neocons favor a robust US military. But most conservatives express greater reservations about military intervention and so-called nation building. Neocons share no such reluctance. The post 9/11-campaigns against regimes in Afghanistan and Iraq demonstrate that the neocons are not afraid to force regime change and reshape hostile states in the American image. Neocons believe the US must do to whatever it takes to end state-supported terrorism. For most, this means an aggressive push for democracy in the Middle East.

One thing I have observed about neoconservative - they're almost always "chickenhawks" - advocates of war who let others do the fighting - just like Sean Hannity. Even after 9/11, I, like many other conservatives, view neoconservativism as an overzealous, naive dream with nightmarish consequences. The push for democracy in Iraq - as bodies pile up, is an example of neoconservative naivity. The end result in Iraq will likely be a civil war, or a Shiite theocracy - probably not a democracy.

To fulfill the neoconservative imperialistic agenda, the draft will most certainly be reinstated, and we will be a nation at war for 20, 30, 50 years. I have young children who I will do anything to protect from the consequences of these dangerous ideologes - starting with voting them the hell out of office.

So, are you really a neoconservative?

Summary: A voice of reason in a sea of confusion
Review: An outstanding and well researched peice of work. The author gives facts, dates and quotes to sustantiate his views. The difference between those on the left who would slander the author and the view points he makes are as simple as stating the facts. If we are to win the war on terror and maintain the core values our great nation was founded on we must let freedom ring!
