Rating: Summary: A literary treasure of humor, wit, and insight Review: Miss Julia Throws A Wedding is the twelve hour, complete and unabridged audiobook presentation of Ann B. Ross' Southern-style comic novel about Miss Julia, a woman determined to plan a traditional and "right" wedding for a couple. The bride once had an affair with Miss Julia's late husband, yet time has passed and Miss Julia has become best friends with the young woman - who is going to get the wedding she deserves whether she likes it or not! A literary treasure of humor, wit, and insight, very ably narrated by Karen White, Miss Julia Throws A Wedding is a welcome and highly recommended addition to community library audiobook collections.
Rating: Summary: Whoops! Review: Popular southern belle Miss Julia shows her stuff in her latest adventure, as does reader Karen White. Miss Julia isn't too keen on weddings, considering the outcome of her own. However, as we've come to know she's a take charge kind of gal and meets all sorts of challenges in sensible shoes without a hair out of place. What could be nicer than sitting on the backporch with a cool lemonade and listening to Miss Julia's latest comic coups?

Rating: Summary: very funny Review: Upon hearing that Binkie and Coleman are planning a quick courthouse wedding, Miss Julia takes it upon herself to give them a proper wedding. But, as will happen with these things, one problem after another comes up, everything from an escaped thief to a strange occurrence at the half-constructed family life center to an attempt of the bride to back out of the wedding. Never lacking in action and mishaps and amusing situations, the story progresses to a happy ending for all. Just as hilarious as the first two Miss Julia books, this is a very enjoyable read.
