Summary: Forever changed
Review: I, like many others, came away from this book forever changed by it. However, what still stands out in my mind (after many readings and giving it out many times as gifts), is what a fun story it is to read. The book is never preachy; Mr. Bach succeeds in getting his point across by hooking you into a great story, with likeable characters and an interesting premise. The philosophies of life are presented in such a way as to cause you to care about how they affect the characters, and thus how they affect you. Because of this book, my perception of the world was completely altered, and that has stayed with me ever since (about 10 years now). No other book, fiction or non-fiction, has had that effect on me. Read this book, if only to enjoy a good story - but I guarantee you'll never be the same.

Summary: Provacative
Review: I am merely a 16 year old girl, who lives in South Dakota. I am sort of exploring religion, as a whole, and looking into different ones, and I must say, This book speaks to all. I noticed some Buddhist principals lingering among the words of wisdom, which every sentance is overflowing with. To thoroughly understand this book, one would need to go thorough and find the symbolism hidden in each sentance. Thank-you Richard Bach; You have given my lungs new air to breathe and showed me that in a society that seems shockingly fast paced and crazy, there are people besides myself who like to stop and smell the dasies, and even ask, "why do dasies smell so great?"

Review: How glad I was to read that I was not the only one to be completely spellbound by Illusions! I, too have given away copies too numerous to count. Everytime, I hope that the recipient gets even a fraction of the inspiration that this book gives me on every reading (also, too numerous to count).
