Summary: Edgy, hot, and addictive
Review: I do not read romance novels, not that there is anything wrong with that, I don't. I picked this up because I needed something to read after going through the last Grisham novel. I was hooked. I have read all 14 in this series. I love the characters, the romance is wonderful without being the center of the book, and I am awaiting the next, so I am rereading them all, much slower.

Summary: Not that thrilling
Review: I don't know why this book keeps getting positive review, maybe they're all loyal fans of J.D Robb. I'm not going to wrtite any negatives about the author because I haven't read her other books, but so far this one is not so special. Not very orginal and clever.

Summary: Not so Thrilling
Review: I don't understand why this book keeps getting positive reviews, maybe they're all loyal fans of J.D. Robb. I'm not going to write any negative about the author, because I havent't read any of her other books, but this one is not so special. For those looking to read an orginal and clever book this wouldn't be the one.

Summary: tingling suspense.
Review: I have always enjoyed Nora Roberts's books, but the 'In Death' series is her best accomplishment. The lives of Eve, her sexy, not-so-above-the-law husband Roarke, Peabody, Mavis, McNab and even Galahad the cat gives you a delicious mystery that is balanced with the fact that all these characters do have personal lives. It's nice to see a such a strong female character such as Dallas; and it's a pleasure to see her interact with her husband as he takes care of her after a traumatic day in homicide. Roberts crafts a gritty series with a deftly handled dose of humanity.

Summary: Engaging, Romantic and Captivating!
Review: I have never been a fan of murder mysteries or "heaving breasts" etc. romance novels. However, this series of books was recommended to me, and I have read each and every one through Holiday In Death with a mixture of excitment and regret. Excitement over what intrique Lt.Eve Dallas and Roarke will get into next, and regret that the story has to come to an end. As always, Eve continues to be haunted by events in the past, while dealing with the harsh realities in the present. The development in Eve and Roarke's relationship has been delicious to see. J.D.Robb manages to create a connection between the reader and the main characters that keeps you wanting more! I anxiously await their next adventure. Write faster J.D. Robb!

Summary: Fantastic Series - All Keepers
Review: I have read all 28 reviews and the reader from Minnesota sums up the book the best for me. Since I am a big fan of romance and mystery, I don't place much emphasis on the sci-fi aspects of the book. Therefore, if you are into sci-fi you will probably be a little disappointed. But it is truly the best of its kind out today. If I could I would read the series from the beginning to the end once a year. It is that good.

Summary: Fantastic, attention grabbing, looking for the next one
Review: I have read Nora Roberts for years but this is the first as J D Robb, but not the last. I've never been a fan of thrillers but I am now, as long as they are by Robb. Don't miss the chance to visit the future.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great fiction, researched, entertaining.
Review: I like Eve. Any homicide det. would. Robb puts the emotions down correctly. Entertaining to the max.
