Summary: Discusses what's REALLY important in life.
Review: I categorize myself as a "non-reader". I cringe any time I am forced to read something, whether it's the newspaper or a novel back in high school or college. Now I can say I am proudly a "reader". This book has changed my life and drastically changed the life of a good friend who is going through some hard times right now. I could never thank the author enough for this. This book is touching and moving. I would gladly recommend this book to anyone in the world. Whether they are looking for good advice, a friend, a counselor, a companion, or a great book, this is it! Thanks Cherie, you'll never know how much this has changed the life of myself and a dear friend. Keep on writing!

Summary: Thoughtful book filled with wisdom
Review: I first listened to this on audio tape and was so impressed by the principles put forth that I purchased the hardcover copy to read. I found this to be one of those books that helps us put things in perspective while providing tangible ways to improve our lives. The best thing I can ever say about a book is that I keep it in my personal library and go back to it over and over. I do that with both the audio and hard copy versions of this work. Thank you Cherie Carter-Scott!

Summary: Definite handbook for the game and mysteries of life
Review: I found this book to be very exact and truthful, no holds barred in describing how life really is and how to get through or overcome small or large obstacles in one's life. Paragraph after paragraph on every personal attribute and life situation you can think of. A definite resource to keep in the bookshelf for those days that aren't going so well and for getting through either day-to-day struggles, or the most burdensome trials of life.

Summary: A handbook for living a conscious, healthy and happy life
Review: I have written this book for people to view their lives from an altered perspective that provides them with insight, clarity and illumination about the circumstances that happen to them. These universal truths cut across all boundaries of race, culture, nationality, religion and language. These "rules" are not punitive or judgmental, but rather a dose of gentle gravity that tells "it" like it is. This book helps open up conversations to discuss our lessons, our challenges and our humanity. This book is for you. Be gentle with yourself, learn the lessons you are presented, and live a full, joyful and abundant life!

Summary: "If Life Is A Game These Are The Rules" is truly a wonderful
Review: I like to read books, but I can never find a book that I truly love. I feel in love with this book with in the first chapter. I can say that after I finished reading this book I have learned to appreciate everyone around me and myself more than I ever have. I think that everyone should go out and by this book.

Summary: A great, well-written book of life!
Review: I loved this book. It is filled with practical, common-sense guidelines for getting through life. Instead of just reading this book, try to apply it and see the difference it can make in your life. I especially liked that it is a well-written, easy-to-understand text book for being human that one can read in just a few hours. Thank you Dr. Carter-Scott for bringing us all back to the simple basics!

Summary: start by loving yourself
Review: I was in midst of a suicidal depression when I found this book. It really made a huge impact on myself and my views on life. Definitely life changing and gem of a book. The concepts and "rules" introduced throughout the book is simple, clear and down to earth. Upon reading this book, you will find yourself more aware of what life has to offer and how to deal with things in a realistic manner. In fact what this book preaches is already inside us, but it's just that we are plain ignoramuses who never paid any attention to it. It also teaches you how to be more in tune with yourself and eventually with the world outside (aka known as life sometimes).

If you have any friends who are depressed or feeling down in life, give them this book and you give them the bible of living life everyday.

The whole book can be summarised into a line that someone once said, " Learn from the Past, Live in the Present and Watch the Future."

Summary: THE OPERATOR'S MANUAL FOR LIFE
Review: I watched Cherie Carter-Scott do a show with Oprah a few weeks ago and found it to be very enlightening. This is like the operator's manual that we should have all be handed at birth to be memorized by the age of 5 or 6. There is a lot of just plain common sense that made me wonder - "why didn't I think of that" or say "I knew that but I've never really thought about it that way before". However, I hadn't thought or said these rules before and thank God someone has finally put it all together in one place. Everyone should get a copy of this book, especially children - it's just really cool!

Summary: Very concise...this is good
Review: I've read a million self-help books, and I have got say, this one was really good. Carter-Scott doesn't pull any punches, she gets to the point and offers good, precise examples of the points she's trying to make. Her straightforward offering really does make this life-thing a lot easier to understand and accept.

Summary: Short and Enlightening
Review: If you are not sure why life seems to be dealing you a bad hand, this is a book, which might help you a lot. I found this book after I had read my fair share of self-help books, and after years of trying to apply every principle that made me successful at work to my private life... without result. The spiritual truths are presented in a very simple way, which will be acceptable even to those who are not that open to spirituality. The book was an eye opener and taught me to look for the potential lesson in every situation I face. Three years after reading it, I have given it as gift to at least a dozen people, and all claim to have benefited from it. Buy it, read it, apply it, you will enjoy the result.
