Summary: you gotta read this book
Review: I played the sega saturn version of myst and completed it in 3 months. I was hungry for more so I got the book of atrus thinking that it was entirely based on the game. It's not entirely based on the game but I stiil liked it. It had sad parts like when Atru's cat dies but it also has cheering up parts like when Gehn gets traped in Riven. I read this book in 2 days. You won't be able to stop reading it. By Alex Alban

Summary: If you liked the CD-ROM games, you'll like the book.
Review: I bought the CD-ROM game "Myst" a few years back and always wondered about the history of that island and what was behind it's existance. Once I bought Riven (the sequel) I was in need of answers. "Myst: The book of Atrus" helped answer all of those questions and more, I couldn't put it down. I finished the book in five days. If you liked Myst the game and are interested in what it's all about, then you need to get this book.

Summary: Probably One of The Best Books Around
Review: This book captures the spirit of the game and runs with it. Rand Miller portrays the characters beautifully and shows us what we've always wanted to know about the world of Myst. This is an incredible read, and I wouldn't hesitate to read it again.

Summary: A superb book for all science fiction readers
Review: This book is absolutely fantastic! I'm not a great fan of the game, but that does not take away from the book. The rich detail and descriptions make everything seem real. The whole story is catching and keeps the reader rapt up to the very last page. I would recommend this book to everyone and anyone who likes science fiction, whether they are fans of the game or not.

Review: When I first began reading MYST it started out slow, but I quickly became intrigued and addicted. The book keeps the reader on the tip of his seat. It is truely well written and is worth buying. It keeps the reader thinking while they are reading book and after they have put it down.I give great credit to the authors.
