Review: Wodney wat wins more than the upper-hand in this sweet book. I am a sixth grade teacher who first heard Wodney's tale at a Children's Book Conference. I purchased it for my eighteen month old and he LOVES the rhythmic style of the author. I read it on a whim to my "Big" sixth graders and they loved it too! Fun for all ages, an underdog that even pre-teens can identify with- Wodney wins!

Review: Wonderful! Delightful! Marvelous! Well, you get the idea--there aren't enough adjectives to do this book justice. The author of many wonderful titles, Lester has hit a grand-slam this time. It is sheer delight to read outloud. Buy it for every child you know, and buy one for yourself while you're at it.
