Review: This book will definitely make you laugh. The characters arevibrant and likeable. I love romances, and this is a really cutebook, it's great for a rainy Saturday or a bubble bath. If you like fun romances without the 24-page sex scenes, you'll love this book!

Summary: If you are looking for something fun to read
Review: This is light fun reading. I believe light and fun is what the writer wanted to accomplish and she did a great job in puttig this story together. This book made me laugh and I enjoyed evey moment of it. Sometimes you just want something funny and light to read. NO big ending, NO big plot just a fun book to read. This is your book. Get it, read it and laugh with it.

Summary: hardly believable
Review: This was very disappointing. We have two main characters who are as interesting as cheerios rings. The story is 280 pages and could have been editted to 30. It is so unbelievable and faux sweet you'll think it was written for Doris Day to play the lead. These people have as much depth as a rain puddle. This should have been made into a romance novel or a short story for Seventeen magazine, even they probably would have found it trite.

The female lead character is weak, and I'll admit the writing is reminiscent of Nicholas Sparks but the characters are well developed and it's a downright entertaining read. If you want a feel-good experience, this is it.

Summary: Astonishingly good first novel!
Review: Would that I could write one this good! Nichols thought up an intriguing plot, then kept it twisting and turning until the very last pages. I found myself tensely reading, hoping it would all end happily ever after. The main characters were well developed and quite likeable, the bad guys and girls pleasantly hateable. Is this an anti-feminist book? Perhaps. I'd prefer to think it is realistic -- that sometimes one's personal life becomes so overwhelmingly tangled that one needs the nudge of an outside person to see one's way through the thicket. The only flaw I could find was in the beginning of the book I was confused for a number of pages about who Ethelda was. At first I assumed she and Jake were married, not partners. Good work Ms. Nichols -- I hope to see more from you in the future.

Review: Yes, this is a romance in the Nicholas Sparks type of writing style. If you like his stuff you'll probably like Handyman. If you find him to smaltzy then you might want to pass. I enjoyed the fact that although it was slightly predictable, the story was cute and clean-no sex, you could recommend this to your mom or grandma with no worries! Sometimes you just need some light romance and a story with a feel good ending. This would be it. I wish there were more authors that could write good romance without the sex.

Review: Yesterday I bought this book and started reading it. It was so good I couldn't put it down. The characters were all funny and likeable and some of the scenes in the book are so funny I just started laughing out loud. I would recomend this book to everyone.
