Rating: Summary: Very exciting and informative on the world of architecture Review: This book is a great one to read if you haven't read any of Braun's books before. One can tell that the author has a great interest in modern art, architecture, and beautiful artwork. "The Cat Who Knew A Cardinal" is one of the many wonderful books by Lilian Jackson Braun!
Rating: Summary: RED BIRD, RED BEARD, RED JELLY BEANS! Review: This twelfth "Cat Who ..." mystery is terrific. I've read them all from the first and they keep getting better. I was really impressed with this one. Good characters, interesting plot twists. But I definitely wouldn't want to live in Moose County - they must have a really high murder rate since Qwill moved in!!!
Rating: Summary: Shows Mrs. Braun's exclent writing abilities Review: This was the first "Cat Who" book I read. It started me on the world of murder mysteries. I've read better "Cat Who" books, but this one will always be my favorite.

Rating: Summary: The cat who caught my fancy... :) Review: Well I must start by saying, I have never really cared for mystery novels. But my mother-in-law left a copy of The Cat Who Knew a Cardinal here after her last visit, and I picked it up to glance at it and the next thing I knew, I was on the fourth chapter. These stories aren't just mystery novels, in fact, I wouldn't care if there were no mystery at all - the characters (including the cats, of course!) and the scenarios are just endearing, and I want to read more of these stories just so I can be back in Qwilleran's world.
