Rating: Summary: This book is out of this world! Review: I liked this book because it had alot of mysterious characters. One of the reason's I didn't like this book was it had no death, or magic,or any quest. But I still liked this book becauseIt had adventure and excitment. And I really think you should read this book.
Rating: Summary: It is a well put mystery Review: I love all of the Bunnicula seris books but this one is my fave. It is comedy and mystery put together in a hair rising tale of 1 dog 1 cat and a newborn puppy.

Rating: Summary: Howliday Inn rocks! Review: I thought the story was good. I think that people who like animals might like this book. I didn't like this book because there was not really a mystery. Everything that could've happen didn't. This book is about murder, runaway, and missing things.

Rating: Summary: I strongly reccomend this for others. Review: Oleney, Maryland 1998 I am 6 years old and I have finished Howliday Inn. I think it is a book full of adventure and I strongly reccomend it for others. The part I liked best was when the little puppy of Howard and Heather howled. It seemed unlikely it would howl.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic Animal Mystery for Middle Readers Review: Pete and Toby Monroe, along with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Monroe, are going on vacation, and, thanks for Harold's tendency to get carsick, they have decide to leave both him, and Chester at Chateau Bow-Wow, a supposed four-star hotel for dogs and cats. It seems like a boring place to Harold and Chester, until the first night, when they are trying to get some sleep, and they hear a horrendous howling, causing Chester to rename Chateau Bow-Wow, Howliday Inn. Chester becomes convinced almost instantly that there are werewolves among them at the hotel, and begins investigating. But pretty soon Harold and Chester have even more to investigate, because animals begin disappearing, and there are rumors of murder spreading around. Now it's up to Chester and Harold to solve the case, before their check-out time from Howliday Inn comes sooner than expected. After reading THE MISFITS by James Howe, I thought that I'd check out another one of his novels, which led to my purchase of HOWLIDAY INN. This is one of the best books that I have ever read for children and pre-teens. The characters are intelligent and witty, and speak in such a simple way that children of all ages will be able to understand what is going on in the plot. Not only that, readers will be able to help Chester and Harold solve the mystery, while also getting a good laugh out of the quirky personalities of the other boarders at Chateau Bow-Wow. A must have book for all kids ages 6-13, as HOWLIDAY INN is something that even the most reluctant reader will be unable to put down. Erika Sorocco
Rating: Summary: Delightful sequel! Review: The sequel to "Bunnicula" follows the misadventures of Harold and Chester, when they are taken to a kennel where Chester dubs "Howliday Inn." There, they meet a pair of weird daschunds, a crazy cat, a messy love triangle between a bull dog and two French poodles, and one of the kennel-keepers who has an obsession with Louise, one of the French poodles. She turns up missing, and Chester and Harold set to resolve the mystery of Louise's disappearance. James Howe admirably captures the essence of Chester and Harold by himself, and this sequel is also a delightful novel worth reading.
