Rating: Summary: Average Richard Bach Book Review: I didn't feel there was any new content in this book, it seemed to me to be a different story on what Richard has already talked about in his other books. Still the basic story was good and worth reading.

Rating: Summary: Mush Review: I read this book at a more vulnerable stage in my life, when I was prone to ideas of fairy-floss and fun parlours. I almost ran myself....from resposibility! Thankfully I had a good psychologist to convince me otherwise. Freedom is not achieved by running...it is achieved by looking things squarely in the eye. I haven't seen the book since I bought it. What a wonderful thought...that I had FORGOTTEN ever throwing it in the trash. Just a question for anyone who thinks any of this stuff to be definitive in terms of creating solutions to problems one encounters in life....are you sure you aren't being hood-winked? Try reading the book objectively, and it may suddenly appear as not quite the friendly character you had supposed it to be!
Rating: Summary: Don't let the child within you die! Review: I think this is Richard Bach's best book. The book makes you realize a lot many things which we usually bury deep inside us. The conversations between Dickie and Richard are too fantastic! The way Richard explians him the fundamentals of life is very simple and at the same time very profound. Moreover, the concept used by the author is very innovative and wonderful. The book really helps the reader to explore his inner self. I have loved every line of the book and would like to thank Richard Bach for such a lovely creation.
Rating: Summary: Sorry Richard, I just didn't get it! Review: I was so dissappointed, could barely get through this book. I persevered because his other books are so wonderful. My all time favorite has to be "The Bridge Across Forever" But this book, must be a guy thing, as a woman I could not relate to any of it, except for jumping off Tiger Mt. I see folks doing that every day and wonder if Richard is up there among them, dreaming up my next favorite book.
Rating: Summary: Rich in spiritual philosophy Review: In a narrative between himself (adult Richard Bach) and
his 9 year old former self ("Dickie"), the author presents
a guide to life. The author's spouse, Leslie, adds to the
dialogue by bringing another point of view to the philosophy
presented. There are many thought provoking notions
presented such as: the "physics" of thoughts, "Life is," the
key(s) to a successful marriage and remembering the birth
experience. It reads like the author's self-therapy with
the reader as a bystander/beneficiary. Anyone who enjoys
Richard Bach's philosophy will find it again here, skillfully
presented in the author's clever writing style.

Rating: Summary: Dusty Thoughts. Review: In this book, I think Richard Bach tries to show us how to find the core of ourselves. So many times we abandon thoughts and never quite finish them (not that any thought is ever finished)..:) But he had reminded me of these thoughts I had once abandoned. Richard Bach has become one of my favorite authors, not just because of this book, but the majority of his work is equally fulfulling. Prepare to change your perspective of life if you decide to read this book:)

Rating: Summary: It's a elief to hear from Richard Bach again. Review: It's a relief to hear from Richard Bach again. Reading one of his books is like sitting back with a friend you haven't heard from in awhile and catching up. Anyone who has ever read his previous novels will not only play catch up with someone who probably deeply affected their lives, but will probably start remembering some of their own unkept promises to their inner child.
I would have loved to have given this book a 10, but it really didn't get to me the way some of his other books have. Then again, maybe I'm just not ready for the message...
