Summary: One of the best self-help book available.
Review: Denis Waitley is a joy to read, and this book, as others he wrote before, is a "how to" dialogue on how to succeed in life. His brown paperbag experiment in his bathroom had me laughing for three days straight. His advice on parenting are simple eye-opening truths which we shall all apply daily. I find his books a delightful balance between the straight and narrow Dale Carnegie notions, and the Anthony Robbins or Bob Proctor "super-achiever you-are-what-you-think avoid pain and gain pleasure" type of success philosophy. All four authors are excellent and complement each other but Waitley is probably the most reader-friendly, and has plenty of humour to lighten the text. For all readers of success, self-help and motivational books, this one should be on top of your list.

Summary: Awesome Motivator!
Review: Dr. Waitley continues to turn out one quality book after another. These works are timeless and their principles are useful regardless of the date of original publication because they are taken from Christian truths. Take his teaching on belief. On page 118 he writes "Belief as a positive force is the promise of realizing things hoped for and unseen. As a negative force, it is the premonition of our deepest fears and unseen darkness." Hebrews 11:1 is the origin of this discussion. Waitley goes on to talk about the power of the unseen by adding "What the mind harbors, the body manifests in some way" (p. 119). It's no wonder Waitley has sold so many books and held presentations all over the world. He has a valid message and is gifted as a communicator. Time spent reading this book is time well invested in one's manifesting one's future.

Summary: Goals Strategy
Review: How to keep ond track, having the motivation. What to do with the time while pursuing goals and trying to make your goals come to fruition, I see this book as the perfect solution to procrastination and what I mentioned earlier.

Summary: Nonsense!
Review: There is a used book available for 73 cents. If you pay that price, you are overpaying by 50 cents.

Summary: Worth a read
Review: This book is an update version of Denis Waitleys power techniques. They worked for athletes and astronauts as well as business people and they will work for you as well.

If you have purchased other Denis Waitley books, never fear, this one is new and different. Worth a read. Great stuff.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Powerful book, imitated but not duplicated
Review: This great book by Dr. Denis Waitley came out in the early 90's and was the predecessor of so many of the management and leadership books that followed to this day.

Dr. Waitley shows you how to think like an entrepreneur even as you are an employee. He shows you how to undergo the kind of changes that we all must undergo to succeed in these turbulent times.

Thank you Dr. Waitley. I am looking forward to your next foray!
