Summary: Counterproductive Frustrations
Review: Although I am still fairly new to past life work, I found this tape a frustration rather than a help to my efforts in learning more about myself. I gave it several tries, attempting to remain open to Linn's suggestions each time, but discovered as follows: She talks too much, uses a cadance of voice that disrupted my ability to relax, and more importantly, has a poor balance of suggestion/free visualization reign. Just about the time I could relax and get a good feel of what I was supposed to be doing, her suggestions would disrupt my mental pictures and subsequently leave me sprawling when I was "almost there" on my own accord. Listening to her, I was not allotted the freedom of creativity necessary to truly discover one's self. Her ideas are sound, but her method is horrid. I would liken my ability to follow her to a freight train whose engine coughs down a track. . .lunging towards success, and then screeching into a blinding halt. A train wreck. I wasn't able to learn anything new, and though I may use the sentiments behind her technique, I never got anywhere with her.

Review: I discovered Denise Linn about 5 years ago during a very difficult period of my life. I actually bought the tapes "Past LIves Present Dreams" and found the memories I was able to recall so incredible and powerful. I have been a fan ever since. I have a number of her tapes and I love the way she is so plain spoken in discussing this kind of regression. I understand her, whereas others I have found too esoteric. Her voice is filled with power, and although others reviewing this have said she "shouts" I find her manner soothing and empowering at the same time. I would fall asleep within seconds if she became more relaxing, whereas with these tapes my attention can be focused into to the wonderful imagery that she uses. I would recommend ANYTHING by Denise Linn, but if you are interested in past life regression, I would definitely recommend this (and Past Lives, Present Dreams).

Summary: Powerful and Life-changing!
Review: I pre-ordered these tapes as soon as I heard about them, after reading Past Lives, Present Dreams by Denise Linn. The cassettes are experiential, as opposed to the intellectual exercise of *merely* reading a book. Denise guides you through exercises in which you touch the past. You access past lives which concern your current problems and situations. Examples are given of how dissolving emotional blockages which you have carried into this life with you can change relationships of today! Not being sure I believe in reincarnation,still I knew that dissolving emotional blockages can only be a good thing. I *saw* a life that I loved-I loved my community and my friends and most of all my wife. I did not want to pass out of that life because I felt that I had to be there to take care of my wife, she would not be alright unless I was with her.I used Denise's techniques to go back and "change" the outcome. My personal testimony is necessary to review the tapes because I can vouch for the fact that they are unbelievably powerful. Within two weeks I was contacted by the daughter I had given up for adoption (in this life) who must have been the *wife* of the former lifetime. Of course I had always thought that she could never be alright if I wasn't with her to take care of her. If you're reading this review, you must be considering Denise Linn's tapes. They changed my life more than I ever dreamed they could.

Summary: Waste of Money
Review: Ok, so the premise is good. However, I would only recommend getting this tape series if you have no prior experience with meditation, past life regression, or astral projection of any kind, AND you don't mind being shouted at as you try to relax. Ms. Linn's incessant talking and raising her voice at the most inopportune times create not only an environment which is counter-productive to the purpose, but is flat out stressful. I have loaned this tape series to other members of our meditation group without giving them my perceptions, and have gotten 4 negative responses to it. I've tossed it since I can't even find someone to give it away to. I'd rather meditate & regress with my son's anime cartoons blaring in the background. I find those voices more soothing than Ms. Linn's.

Summary: 5 Starts is NOT enough!!!
Review: These tapes are worthy of a million stars..!! Before I go any further I must say that I have read a million books about past lives and these two little tapes are the TOP OF THE LINE! Ms. Linn discusses why it is important for people to discover past lives (as they influence the presant) and gives you basic breathing techniques (which SHE even does the breathing with you!!) and then moves on to meditations and shows you how to view yourself and loved ones into your past life. She then gives you a chance to rid yourself of emotional bagage (from your previous lives) by letting you express the things you need to express to rid yourself of guilt, pain, sadness, etc. I have never found anything that worked before these and I would reccomend them to ANYONE.. HIGHLY!! Discover why you behave certian ways or have certian fears.. all it takes is a few $$ and a few mins of your time.. These tapes will change your life!!
