Rating: Summary: A good read. Review: Debbie Macomber writes good books. This new series promises to provide her readers with the quality of reading they're used to. The complex relationships only add to each of the stories. Only one jarring note--how could Susannah be so very blind about her brother Richard? She was quick to see all the promise in Laredo, but couldn't see that Richard is absolutely no-good. Totally unredeemable. However, the important thing is that Susannah fought for what she wanted (Laredo) and she got him.
Rating: Summary: A truly sweet romance series. Review: Debbie Macomber's done it again. She made summer a little more enjoyable with a series. The first is Lonesome Cowboy. She provides excellent tension between hero and heroine with a interesting complications from her two brothers. I had a difficult time trying to choose which one needed smacked on the head first. As another rose fanatic, I loved her correct details on historical roses. I can hardly wait to read the next one, TEXAS TWO STEP.

Rating: Summary: Not Bad Review: I enjoyed this book but it seemed too simple at times. I liked Laredo and Savannah. The business with Richard was a little too much to believe. Perhaps he'll be in another book and the change in his character will be dramatic. For now I will try one more in the series. I've liked her other books much more.
Rating: Summary: Another winner! Review: I have long been a Debbie Macomber fan, and as usual, she has written another fun, yet insightful story of a couple who know about hard knocks, and still have a dewy newness of faith and trust in the basic principles of love. The locale was believable, the characters real, the laughter and tears unavoidable. An all-around enjoyable reading experience. Thank you, Debbie!
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: I really enjoyed meeting the folks of Promise. Debbie does a great job with the story. I fell in love with Savannah and Laredo. Grady is a hard cookie, but he'll soften up. The mystery surrounding Bitter End is intriuging.
Rating: Summary: One of the best romances I've read in awhile. Review: I think these people in the town and around are very interesting. I can not wait to see what happens in the next couple of books.
Rating: Summary: I think this book is very good, can't wait for the others Review: I think these people in the town and around are very interesting. I can not wait to see what happens in the next couple of books.
Rating: Summary: A truly sweet romance series. Review: I too prefer clean romance. Nobody does it better than Debbie Macomber. We are a Christian family and so are wary of main line fiction, but I am so taken with Ms. Macomber.... I let my teenaged daughter read all this series. Excellent!
Rating: Summary: Refreshing Review: I was so glad I read this book. It is a light and very refreshing read. I get so tired of reading about men and women who can't stand each other and then within two to three hundred pages fall madly in love and live happily ever after. Come on, life isn't like that. Thank you to Ms. Macomber who realizes that and writes a light book about people who live honest hard-working lives. (And there is just enough evilness in the character of Richard to keep things stirred up a bit.) If you're looking for a book that is a change from streamline romance this book is the one for you!
