Summary: Interesting idea but flat characters.
Review: The book started out with a very interesting idea as a child sliped through a time gate.
I was really sorry to see that we never really understood the attraction between the main characters unless one considers sex a reason to love someone.
The characters never had anything in commen and I was never convinced that they even had a reason tolike each other.
The plot was vague and I spent much time wondering why she was always so misserable.
I know that the entire story could have been better plotted and with more character depths and we all would have been rivitted.
Better luck next time.

Summary: Wonderful story line.
Review: This book has a twist to the every day story of girl meets boy, falls in love and lives happily ever after. Time travel makes this an exceptional love story that you just have to read!

Summary: Not the best but I couldn't put it down till the end!
Review: This book is the first Linda Lael Miller's work I read. I loved time-travel theme and Ms Miller did a nice job for this plot. However, while reading it, I ,sometimes, felt a bit bored. The story started out good and interesting. A little girl named Megan time-travelled to medieval England and was raised by a rich merchants. She was given a new name, Gloriana. At the age of seven, Gloriana was married to the fifth baron of Kenbrook. Thirteen years later, Kenbrook returned home after battle. In stead of coming back to claim his bride, he brought a french beauty back with him and intended to annul his marriage. With a lot of help from brother and sister-in-law, Gloriana finally won her husband's heart. I enjoyed this part of the book greatly. However, the story after this part telling about Gloriana's time-travel back to modern day world. This part of the book is a bit confusing, specially, the same plot was repeated twice (time-travel back and forth). Because of this, it makes this book a bit less appealing. Although all the flaws indicated above, I found myself couldn't put this book down until the end. Well, this tells you something, doens't it? So, If you need something for a stress-free day, pick up this book and enjoy.

Summary: mildly interesting
Review: This didn't begin like a time travel. At first, I couldn't grasp the characters. Dane was not likealble even in a good 'bad' way. Gloriana was introduced like a tom-boy which was not essential to the story. I did read to the end though it wasn't smooth.

When trying authors, I know right away if I'll be collecting them. I didn't feel this w/ LLM. I felt as I did trying Kat Martin or Heather Grahm (not so much the writing style as the "just ok, feeling").

Summary: ok
Review: This didn't start like a time travel at all.

I couldn't grasp the characters, at first; Dane wasn't likealble - even in a good 'bad' way. Gloriana was introduced like a tom-boy which was not even a part of her character the rest of the book. Other things struck me as not essential to the story either. So the first couple chapters could have been the beginning of a completely different story. Not great. It did get a little better and I did finish.

Summary: A most enjoyable timetravel romance.
Review: This exciting tale of a childs rescue, her later romance and separation from her husband Dane St. Gregory was intriguing to say the least. The unwilling time-travel of Gloriana and the lovers apart keeps one in suspense throughout the book. You won't want to put it down until the end

Summary: Glorianna's Knights, Wonderful
Review: This was my first Linda Lael Miller novel, and I found it extrodinary. This coincidentlly was my introduction to romance literature. I felt the character of Dean St. Gregory was a strong and very masculin man. And it was easy to see why Glorianna fell in love with him, who wouldn't be? The theme of time travel I found was not as appealing as the rest of the novel, however it did add some depth and sponatanaiety to the story line. Combined with the gallantry of the knights and castles of the 13th century, and the colourfulness of the characters. This is a great novel for an introduction to Romance.
