Summary: Eric Dickey does it again!
Review: I think this book is wonderfully written! Interesting characters, interesting twists, and very interesting view points about inter-racial relationships. Thanks for another great creation!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This brother deserves the highest award that can be given.
Review: Mr. Dickey did it not once, not twice, but three times again.I can admit to being his certified #1 Fan.With my 65 year old mother coming in a very close 2nd.If he wanted to write a book on the ABC's I would buy it.Thanks for the many journies.Oprah is truly missing this wonderful author .Hint to all readers:DON'T SLEEP ON MR. ERIC JEROME DICKEY!!!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very Entertaining, but typical
Review: I enjoy all of Eric Jerome Dickey's books, however, I am a little tired of books that depict black women as bitter, hateful and mean. We are not all like that and it makes us seem as if we are mad at the male race. When is an author going to write a book about a brother and sister helping each other in this "dating" environment. I have plenty of friends that are in interracial relationships and they don't get the stares that they think are getting. Interracial dating has become accepted by society. However, the book is entertaining. Thanks Mr. Dickey for another good read.

Summary: The book was entertaining but lacked substance.
Review: I am a man who likes his coffee black and likes to read books with substance. The book was an easy read, the plot moved quickly and there was no shortage of excitement and entertainment. However, I was expecting a book that dealt, in a realistic fashion, with the issues involved in an inter-racial relationship. I was teased, lead on and eventually hung out to dry at the end of the book. I came away from the experince feeling cheated. The story had a lot of potential but did not deliver on its promise.

Summary: could have been better
Review: Mr. Dickey, I love the way you write but this book made me mad. I get so tired of hearing the same tired things about Black Women. We all don't have attitudes and get pregant. My angre is that I don't behave like that and I don't have any friend's who behave like that. Yes, it's true there are some who act like that but by writing this book it gives white women the idea that Black Women truly are aggressive angre women. If a Black Man wants to date a white woman because he is in love, Great! but don't make us (Black Women) out to be the bad guy because we all are not. If the Black couple in this book just truly did not get along and the Black Woman was a nice person it would not of bothered me but I get sick of these Black Men with these Racist attitudes toward their own women! Grow Up! lets work together. Date whoever you want but always respect your women in your race. Sorry EJD, I hope to read your next book. You are an excellent writer.

Summary: ERIC DICKEY WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?
Review: If you are looking for the kind of novel that stimulates to your intellect, arouses your emotions, and appeals to your humor--you must read this!!. Eric Jerome Dickey is just the kind of writer I've been waiting for, one who knows how to write about real life issues with Intelligence, Style, and just the right amout of humor to keep you from getting too stressed out about the controversy of the topic. Don't start on it in the middle of busy schedule, ITS ADDICTIVE!! Much Love Eric, and may the Lord continue to increase you!

Summary: "Milk In My Coffee" will open your eyes...
Review: After reading Mr. Dickey's first two books, I was already a fan. "Milk In My Coffee" has made me a diehard fan. The relationship between Jordan and Kimberly was sweet and refreshing, and adversity toward their relationship made me anaylze my own behavior toward interracial couples. The main and supporting characters in this book easily resembled people I've known in life, not just some random characters created from standard stereotypes. I can usually predict how a story will evolve, but this book always kept me guessing. I am eagerly anticipating Mr. Dickey's next book. If you like to read books that are truly satisfying, then you'll want to make this book a part of your collection.

Summary: BOOK OF THE YEAR
Review: This is the first book that I have read from Dickey, my fiance has told me in the past that he is a great writer because she read his book "Sister, Sister". Since then I have been determined to read this book, once I picked it up I was unable to put it down. I applaud this man for his brilliance and his ability to get the attention of so many of different races and culture.

Summary: EJD has done it again. The characters were rich in flavor
Review: EJD wow! Reading this book really helped me to understand inter racial dating. I must admit I'm one of those sisthas who would shake my head when I saw a brother with a white woman. I never felt jeaously, I would take it personal and think to myself am I not good enought for you? Thanks to your style and flavor, I now look at the whole black/white thang in a new light.
