Summary: For anyone in a serious relationship--don't miss this book.
Review: Eric must have a secret camera into the hearts, minds and souls of every interracial couple today. It spoke to me and my fiance directly, page after page. I found myself not able to put it down till the last breathless words were completed. I learned things about how my partner may feel, despite his love for me, just because we're of a different race. I even learned a thing or two about friends' attitudes, things that Eric spoke so openly about through his conversational style of writing.

This story is a MUST READ for any couple already in, or just considering, a mixed relationship.

Eric hits on all the reservations, all the lingo, all the stereotypes that make dating outside your race the thing that it is -- undeniably difficult yet sweet.

Once society gets past the color barrier, it's refreshing to watch their eyes open to the fact that we're just MEN and WOMEN in love, not BLACK or WHITE men in love with BLACK or WHITE women. Regardless of our shells, don't our hearts all pump the same color blood?

Summary: Excellent book. Controversial subject. Must read.
Review: Excellent book. The characters have real-life problems.

Mr. Dickey has once again written a book that everyone can relate to. The characters are written with sensitivity and emotional depth. You find yourself immersed in the problems of the characters and realize that "true love" will win everytime.

Summary: entoxicating

Summary: "Made me take a good look at myself"
Review: This book made me questions my actions in the past and take a hard look at myself. Even though I still question some black man motives for getting involved with white woman. I don't think all of them have hidden agendas. I think some of them may really just love the white woman they are with. I admire Eric Dickey for writting about this touchy subject, and helping me to really take a second look at myself.

Summary: Another Great Story !
Review: While I rated this a 4*Star story it does not take away from Eric and his work!! I think EJD is an excellent author!! He is one author that you wait for the next book!! I have read all of his books and I cannot wait for the next one to appear in the stores!!! I love the way he reaches us thru each of the characters! While I was not particularly fond of the subject matter .I did not let this discourage me from reading this story. I knew in the end Eric would not let me down!! I thought how could the brotha do this ? While reading the end ,it was not surprising to me. I caught it in the begining!! There were clues at the very begining .Thanks Eric for not letting me down!!

Summary: Awesome!! You cant put this one down until its done!!!
Review: I have had the extreme pleasure of reading all of EJ Dickey's books. out of all of them this one was the one I think noone expected, but it had me set right from the beginning at the meeting of the two people KImberly and Jordan... I think love like this can happen in moments.. Im just not so sure people believe it can happen to two people from seperate races... I think that this is still a issue with the African American woman and man, yet it extends further. I got "sneers & jeers" from those coworkers who felt that they didnt approve and the wonder in their eyes of just what was happening... Eric had a good spin on this one and it took til the end for all of the characters to deal with their situation and/or plot in life and grow from it so they could move on and be productive in their lives although they are fictitious... I give EJD the highest honor on all of his books but especially for this one because it will break down some barriers and have people "thinking" about their own racism(s). I end this by saying YOU GO BOY!!!! Definitely more than 5*read.. I give it a "10".. A bag of Buttered Microwave Popcorn and a 1 liter Sprite! :-)!!! I cant wait for more.....SHA**@aol.

Summary: Deep!
Review: This was simply a great book. I really enjoyed the depth and background the characters had. Once you start reading you will not want to put it down. Just when you think that you have the ending figured out, WHAM!, something else is thrown in and you have to rethink the outcome. When milk in my coffee is explained, I was out done. This book told me that we often judge people at face value instead of taking the time to understand the real person on the inside. DEEP, DEEP, DEEP! Really made me think. I can't wait for the next one.

Summary: Beautifully Done!!
Review: I can't reccommend this book highly enough!! This piece of fiction is more non-fiction than anyone can guess. The story outlines perfectly the prejudices (the pre-judging) blacks and whites have toward each other and toward interracial couples. I love the message in this book: love has no color. That's the way it should be. Somebody tell Oprah about this one!!!
