Rating: Summary: Fearless, candid and full of common sense Review: "Let's Be Heard" should not be missed! This collection of essays should be required reading for every high school senior in America (it's too important to wait for college). LBH is an insightful, clearly written treatise on everything from the proper role of government in the lives of a free people, to taxation, immigration, and personal responsibility. Bob Grant is not afraid to expose the muddled thought of 'Limousine Liberals' and the inherent dishonesty of the leftist elite. With absolute candor and logic, Mr. Grant advances common-sense solutions to the most critical issues facing our nation.
Rating: Summary: Republican Yes-Man for AM Radio Review: As an independent voter, Bob Grant makes it hard to vote Republican; a few weeks listening to the Bob Grant Show on my way home from work has certainly put me off GW for this November. While undoubtedly a clever man, the intolerance in this man's speech is sickening, amusing and bewildering all at the same time. What's worse is that his show comes under the guise of a forum of free speech, when in actuality it is entirely one-sided. For all his distaste with the mainstream media, I think if he sat back for a minute and consulted with liberals he would find an equal amount of disgust with what so many conservatives dub the "liberal media."While I enjoy some conservative commentators, Grant is an unapologetic Republican sycophant that make him hard to stomache and difficult to take seriously. I'd love to discuss this topic with anyone who's willing at cdgprince@netscape.net, send me a note.

Rating: Summary: Let's Be Heard tells it like it is! Review: Bob Grant is a master of history and applies it to his radio skills. Like him, love him or hate him, he speaks from facts. His book tells of what he has to do to continue to speak the truth. Thank God WOR gave him another chance. His book is great. Joe DuPont Stirling, N.J. joedupont@juno.com
Rating: Summary: An Excellent book, by a man who speaks the truth. Review: Bob Grant is the voice of the silent majority. He is the greatest radio talk show host; at the height of his fame in the 80s he was the most listned to man in New York City. He was so popular, so well liked and loved by so many listeners, his opposition did everything they could do to tear him apart, mostly lobbing false charges of racism. These were back in the days when if you said ANYTHING negative about David Dinkins or Al Sharpton you were labled "hate radio". Of course we know what failures those leaders are today. Bob Grant reserved caustic language for those people he thought were tearing the country apart. This of course angered many, and today we see the rise of "compassionate conservatism". Years from now we look back at Bob Grant and his message, and when America finally collapses to the decadent, the obcense, the power hungry, those who value their dollars more liberty, we will say, Bob Grant was RIGHT. Let's be heard, indeed!

Rating: Summary: Right On and Well Done Review: Bob Grant writes an interesting, informative book, which offers common sense, thought provoking insights into a variety of topics. I suspect that the individuals who have for years been slamming Grant, and are now criticizing this book, are the same individuals Bob rails against. Logically one has to ask, if you find the man so offensive, why are you listening to his show and buying his book? Perhaps the truth is that some people don't like the rest of us reading material which exposes the phonies, fakes, and frauds for what they are.
Rating: Summary: A Light In The Dark Review: I highly recommend "Let's Be Heard" to anyone anxious about the direction our country is taking, the underlying reasons we are a nation in decline, and solutions we must adopt if we are to reverse our downward spiral. Mr. Grant writes the way he speaks - honestly, directly and with an historical perspective. His many chapters touch on the most critical issues facing the U.S. today, including sadly, how we are moving from "one nation under God" to becoming a fractious collection of ethnic nation states and special interest groups. Mr. Grant decries the tyranny of Political Correctness, confiscatory tax policies, quotas, unchecked immigration and a lack of personal responsibility. He quite rightly identifies these issues as terrible threats to the future of our once great Republic. Bob Grant is absolutely unafraid to call a fraud a fraud. He logically and forcefully pokes holes in the false premises & myths of the liberal elite and their willing accomplices in the media. If you are a Conservative or have a Libertarian streak, I urge you to read it -- you will find yourself nodding in agreement with every page you turn. If you are a Liberal, I challenge you to read this book, because if you can stand the whithering light of truth -- "Let's Be Heard" may change your life.
Rating: Summary: The Grand Hater of human race Review: In this book, Mr. Grant is determined to put his delusional thoughts in the records of history. He comes across as a bitter, selfish, and paranoid man, whose unshakable hatred to the poor and different folks dominates his thoughts. He hates immigrants and does not see any positive gain from diversity. He hates Jews yet pretends to be their best friend for fear of their aggressive attacks on anti-Semitics. He hates Muslims yet persists to display his contempt towards them since they present no political power in this Land. He hates Black and Hispanics claiming that they are a burden on this great civilization. He hates democrats since they seek progressive social changes. I doubt if this man has any empathy towards any noble human endeavor. As an obsolete dinosaur, Mr. Grand has long outlived his generation of white racism. His obsession with History hinders his adaptation to the new and changing events of modern times. If he has his way, there would be no cab divers, waiters, construction workers, or agricultural or factory workers on the American soil. The great progress in understanding interracial communication, in the last half century, has skipped this man's attention. His great oratorical skills have earned him the title of "King of Talk Radio", yet his deviant dispassion invokes repulsion towards his bizarre and pathetic logic. "Lets be heard" is latest gasp of a living racist who is dazed with the breeze of fresh air of freedom and equality of the poor and indigent.
Rating: Summary: THe same old nonsense Review: It it obvious that anything in this book was going to be skewed with bias remarks. This man is a bigot who has no sense of humanity. For those of you who liked this book, I must say a prayer for your sorry souls. Additionally, the WASC only killed off millions of native americans who where in tune with nature, and then sat back while they had African slaves, not interested in makeing pollution and nuclear weapons, work the land to its eventual doom. So they are not to blame for the current mess America is in? You tell me. If Africans were living in Africa, they would not be creating holes in the ozone, or pressuring their youths with making money, to the point of suicide. The Native Americans would be cultivating America, but they would not be killing off entire species of Animals and they would not be deforrestizing acres of land. So there you have it; can you refute this?
