Review: Lola Rose, is a mildy depressing book that gives the viewer not a chance to escape but to be drawn into the troubles of 12yr old girl Jayni. Jayni, her little brother and her mother leave home in a desperate flight to flee their abusive father. Many other incidents follow that are not worth mentioning as they are boring and tedious. This book is not worth a read.

After having enough, they decide to flee to London as they have a good pocket of cash supporting them. With new names and a fresh start, Lola Rose, formerly Jayni, is convinced that they can make it.But they can't hide from dad forever. One day, mom's had enough and calls dad.

A captivating tale I couldn't put down.
