Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Almost Perfect
Review: Excellent tapes - however defintely needed an accompanying text. The text is referred to within the tape dialogue and it was very frustrating not to have it for reference.

With an accompanying text - would have rated this series 5 Star!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Confused: tapes do not agree with the product.
Review: I am just starting out with these tapes, but I am confused because right away in the beginning of side 1 of tape one they refer to the accompanying text which does not come with the tapes. When I search Amazon.com or their own web site, I see no reference to a text. Any idea how to get it? I do not think it is Italian for Dummies (or whatever their other book is called) because that comes with a single tape of its own.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Bravo, Presto Italiano!
Review: Prior to working with the Presto series, I struggled with phrases, etc. from other Italian "how-to's." The Presto series gave me a foundation and a greater appreciation of language structure as it is spoken.

My niece is in her first year of college and was unable to get into an Italian class. I gave her the Presto course and suggested she spend her time and money on a trip to Venice.

Review: the narrator is so annoying that he makes learning this beautiful language a chore.
