Rating: Summary: The Perfect Preschool Gift Review: Perfect for preschoolers, it will keep you and them entertained beginning to end. In this fourth book in the series the little mouse is busy as usual hoppng from thought to thought. The illustrations are a perfect compliment to the story, as they are very colorful and detailed. They are sure to occupy the young minds as they try to locate those extra details. Good for the whole family, but especially the young ones.
Rating: Summary: Not as good as the others Review: The illustrations are the same as her other three books (and are just as much fun) but the story line isn't as good. The steps that the mouse makes between each action don't really connect (or make sense). We LOVE the other 3 books, but this one was a real disappointment--we would not recommend it.
Rating: Summary: latest, and best, of the series Review: The mouse is back! Once again, a sweet little boy becomes exhausted meeting the constant demands of a tiny tyrannical rodent in this, the fourth of the Numeroff-Bond books.Written for the Christmas season, the action begins with our protagonists preparing for an outing to see a Christmas film -- but it doesn't stop there! Not by a long shot. One thing leads to another -- somehow logical, somehow outrageous -- until the circle is complete, and our duo are again wandering off to the movies. The illustrations are absolutely priceless, filled with humorous details that will keep the book fresh even after the hundredth reading. And, if your child is like mine, there will be hundreds of readings. You will never forget the image of a mouse singing karaoke in candy cane-decorated boxer shorts, and do not neglect the sweet pictures on the credit pages.
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: This book is in the same style as the previous two Numeroff books "If you Give a MOose a Muffin" and "If you give a mouse a cookie", and "If you give a pig a pancake. Very cute illustrations and easy words for a reader. Kids get a kick out of the antics of the mouse and how he wants this and that. Great children's book to cuddle with your child and read to them.
Rating: Summary: One too many Review: This book is one too many in this very creative series. The mouse's "next steps" just do not follow each other or show the creativity of the first three books. Once again the illustrations are fabulous and save this book.
Rating: Summary: Ashley's Review Review: This humorous book "If You Take a Mouse To the Movies" by Laura Numeroff is a very good childrens book. This book is about a young boy that takes a mouse to the movies. Then it wants the tells numerous things of what the mouse boy to do with or for him next because every event makes him want to do something else. This well illustrated book tells this story until the mouse goes back to the movies. This 1 line per page story is a great book for children to read over and over again of any age. Even at my age I could read it many times and still laugh again and again.
Rating: Summary: special Review: This is a funny book, nice pictures, great book by Laura Numeroff. Follow, the holiday fun and irresistable tale about taking a mouse to the movies. Colorful artwork by illustrator Felicia Bond.
