Review: I really enjoyed this book. I picked it up because I had been reading all of Maeve Binchy's novels and I was rapidly running out of them. This book was on a display table with some of Maeve Binchy's work at the bookstore, because they are both contemporary Irish women authors. I found thir writing styles similar, and I found myself really engrossed in this novel by the end. I would recommend it for anyone who has read Binchy and enjoyed her, and I am pleased to have found another Irish author that I can enjoy as much. I am currently reading another one of her novels and I plan to read them all. It is satisfying escapist literature at it's best.
