Review: I was extremely disappointed by this book! The only reason I didn't return it is because I didn't want to go the hassle of shipping it back!

If you're looking for a cute, easy-reader, bilingual book with pictures that accompany it, this is NOT what you are going to get! There's no story book. There are no illustrations. There's only a 90-minute audio cassette playing a story (in English!) that you can only listen to. Try using this to teach a child French while keeping his or her attention span! Even if you break it apart in 10-minute segaments, there are no visual aids to go along with the learning experience.

The story is cute, but only a handful of French words are used. Also, the children's songs? It's a children's choir singing (at the very beginning and very end of the story) the song "Frère Jacques"--isn't this a song most people (even those of us that aren't French!) know or are at least familiar with anyway?

Don't waste your time or money on this one!
