Summary: A visually entertaining book using personification.
Review: My whole family enjoyed this book! The story line is quite funny as some pantaloons are blown off a clothesline and have many adventures while the owner futilely tries to retrieve them from many difficult landings. It is a wonderful book using personification (the pantaloons tell the story in rhyme). The illustrations are superb though and tell a story all their own! We have literally spent long periods of time just looking at the illustrations and seeing all the different things happening in this impossible-to-name Renaissance city. We highly recommend this book!

By the way, I highly disagree that this book be for only "baby-preschool"!!!!! Four years later, I STILL love this book! :-)
