Review: Yes, this book has large print and is an easy read. Don't let that fool you; it's loaded with useful information! In very concise terms, "Investing in IPOs" quickly brought me (a beginning investor) to the point where I understand what to look for in an IPO and where to find that information. Taulli also addresses the sad reality that most individual investors are stuck on the outside when the initial offering happens. But he offers tips to tell you the best time to jump in if you've missed the first offering. Read this book with a highligher in hand because you will be going back to it. It's a great launching point, though not a single source for all you'll ever need to know. On the other hand, the questions I'm now looking to answer are questions I didn't even know to ask before reading this book.
