Summary: Could Have Been Better!
Review: I got this audio book as a birthday present a couple of years ago and just listened to it a few days ago, it's not something I would have bought for myself but since it was a present and it was just sitting on my bookcase I thought I had better finally listen to it. In this story Dana's sister and brother-in-law die in car accident and 5 year old niece Molly comes to live with Dana and her boyfriend. Her boy friend turns out to be a selfish creep and he is jealous of attention she is giving to Molly and he makes it very known to Molly that he doesn't like her. Dana dumps the scum bag, quits her job in a law firm and takes Molly and moves back to her home state and they move in with Dana's control freak father who she has never gotten along with. While back home Dana discovers she is pregnant and then meets and starts dating a guy named Rafe and she neglects to tell him she is pregnant by her ex boyfriend. I started off liking Dana and feeling sorry for her but I think I would have liked In The Family way better if Dana hadn't later come across as a self absorbed airhead and I wish she had been honest with Rafe and told him she was pregnant when they first started seeing each and before they slept together and when she thought about trying to make him think it was his baby really gave merit to her father's belief that she was flighty and irresponsible and sorry but I really found myself not liking Dana too much!

Summary: Don't count Dana out!
Review: Our reader circle enjoyed this story. It's breezy and
light with characters you can easily enjoy. It's not a mystery.
It's not a suspense drama. It's a delightful romance for
a lazy afternoon.
