Summary: Straight From L. Tunstall
Review: The book, a Teacup Full of Roses, was basically talking about a black strong family who was struggling but worked very hard to get what they wanted. The mother, Mattie cared a lot about her son, Paul who does drugs. David, the youngest brother was very smart and Joe was very determined and hard working. Aunt Lou always talked about death and the father always watched tv or read a newspaper. My favorite character was Joe because he was so determined to do what he had to do. A Teacup Full of Roses was a book based on family. The main characters in te book were the Mom, Dad, Joe, Davey, Paul and his girlfriend.

Summary: A Must Read!
Review: This book is a great story that can relate to everyone! Sharon Bell Mathis wrote is everyday real life is. When reading it, you feel you're part of the plot in the story. I was so into it, I read it in a few hours. This story is mainly about a black ghetto family that faces through many challenges, and then concludes to a sad ending. The vivid characters are in a society that has trouble lurking around. This is a must read book!

Review: This book is about a family having some problems. One of my favorite characters in the book is Joe. Joe is always looking out for his brother. He is always defending him, helping him out in life, and trying to keep him out of trouble. But his other brother Paul is addicted to drugs, and steals. He has just gotten out of rehab and is still on drugs and stealing. And Joe is trying to help him stop.

Review: This is a summary about "Teacup Full of Roses" this is a good book that I enjoyed . I would recommened this book to other people to read especially teenager because it talks about the problems teenagers deal with today. It talks about the help teenagers get when they are going through tough situations.

My favorite characters in the book "Teacup Full of Roses" is Joseph Matthew. The reason why I said this was my favorite character was because he was determined to make Davey become the person their mother be talking about. My least favorite character is the father because when Paul came back home the father didn't really cared for him. He kept reminding Paul about drugs.

The lesson teenagers can learn is they should not let drugs come into their life because drugs can take over your life. Then you will not be able to become what you want to be. So if you would like to achieve your dreams do not do drugs.

Summary: Teacup Full of Roses
Review: What ever you do in your life you should never forget about your family. Narcotics, friends, and money are not the most important things in you life. You should always listen to the people who love you, because they are the ones that know what's best for you. In this story you can learn that your family would do any thing just to help you, even risk their own lives to make yours better.

Summary: A Teacup Full Of Roses
Review: When I started reading the book, A Teacup Full Of Roses by
Sharon Mathis, I started thinking about the problems that mostly
teens face. The book talks about different situations and issues
teenagers go through these days. I really liked the way Joe was.
He had a positive attitude towards negative situations and he
always wanted to help, especially his close ones. I would
recommend this book to anyone because it's really a book to enjoy
and to think about some of the actions people take and their
consequences.
