She falls in love with talented country singer Keith Whitley, who, in turn, falls in love with the bottle; it's marriage on the rocks, as Keith descends into alcoholism. In the process of extracting and wearing her heart on her sequined sleeve, Lorrie Morgan tells about life with father, growing up under the charms of the Grand Ole Opry, country countenances beheld along the way, and, of course, that rocky road: love, betrayal, and untimely death.
