Rating: Summary: YO! THIS BOOK ROCKS SO HARD! Review: This book was one of the best weird books I ever read! If you're into the odd, or you are odd, or whatever, you should read it. It rocks so hard!
Rating: Summary: This book was pretty good. Review: This book was pretty good. It's about a boy named Barney that spends a vacation at a beach cottage. There's nothing to do until some weird neighbors move in. The neighbors are obsessed by a strange game called Interstellar Pig. What is really the link between the game and real life. What mysterious thing does the piggy actually do. Find out, when you read Interstellar Pig.
Rating: Summary: It's a game that's REALLY out of this world! Review: This is another of those books I happened to stumble upon as the result of faithful years of being in Battle of the Books. My friends tried to describe it too me, but I just thought it sounded like the weirdest books in the world, but since I didn't have a choice, I read it. I enjoyed it immensly. The vivid descriptions are cool, the vocabulary good, and a book like no others. Science Fiction is my favorite genre, and this is one of the best science fiction books. I really don't want to give anything away, but I'll tell you that it's as exotic and beautiful as the cover, with just as many mysteries. I would read this one if you enjoy science fiction, and even if you don't.
Rating: Summary: A Good Sci-Fi Read Review: This is not one of my favorite William Sleator books - that honor definitely goes to House of Stairs. However, this is a highly entertaining adventure about a boy who gets sucked into a galactic game where he does not know if he will win - or even survive it. I would recommend this to juvenile readers (around the 10-12 age range) or those who enjoy reading good juvenile literature, like myself.

Rating: Summary: Wiliam Sleator still the colorful fun writer! Review: This is the second Sleator book I read and was filled with fun. His writing style is one I just long to see what happens. Although I liked the story, my opinion is that this book is in no comparison to William Sleators Singularity. Ohh I love that book, but this is a good catch none the less.

Rating: Summary: Amazing! Review: William Sleator has a way of sucking you into his books asif each book had a world of its own. Open the cover and the game begins. Who will find the the piggy?
Rating: Summary: Sleator's best, no doubt about it Review: William Sleator recently visited my school. So, needless to say, all the kids were forced to read a bunch of his books. Out of the one's I read (Interstellar Pig, House of Stairs, The Boxes, The Spirit House and SIngularity) Interstellar Pig was far and away my favorite. This very well-written and exceptionally creative book was simply a joy to read from start to finish. The subtle descriptions are exquisite and there are several very suprising twists throughout. I felt that at one point toward the end it was just violent and boring but the book definitely picks up again with yet another wonderful plot twist. A often hilarious, interesting, unusual and all around excellent book. This is William Sleator's masterpiece, simple as that.
