Summary: The Carnivorous Carnival
Review: In the beginning of the Carnivoros Carnival the Baudelaire's dress up as 'freaks' to get in the 'House of Freaks.' The 'House of Freak' is place were they keep people that are different then us. The Baudelaire's dress up as 'freaks' so Count Olaf (the villain of the story) won't find them hiding in the 'House of Freaks.' Even though he is their to.
Violet and Klaus are two headed 'freak' that eat corn that they can't eat because every time they try to eat the corn it slips out of their hand or falls out of their mouth (just to entertain people). Sunny (the youngest Baudelaire) is half wolf half person because her mother fell in love with a wolf and had a baby. Sunny job is to advertise so people come to the park.
Near the end Count Olaf dig's a hole and putt's 8 to 12 lions in the hole. The next day Count Olaf announces they will throw a 'freak' in the lion pit. So what they do is pick a 'freak' to get eaten by the lions (the lion's will do any thing for food since they haven't eaten in a long time).
There is not really a main character in the story but there are three main characters in the story Violet, Klaus and Sunny. I think that because the author Lemony Snicket is making all types of bad luck happen to them and started the first book begin with the Baudelaire's. I do not think Lemony Snicket is try to tell any a message or he is trying to say bad luck can happen to every one.

Summary: The Carnivorous Carnival
Review: In The Carnivorous Carnival the Baudelaires find themselves in a carnival. When the Baudelaires get out of the trunk of Count Olaf's car, they overhear Count Olaf speaking to Madame Lulu. Pretty soon, the Baudelaires find out that Madame Lulu is a fortune teller so they decided to disguise themselves as "freaks". I really like the part when the Baudelaires were disguising themselves. I also really like the shocking parts of this book. I really enjoy this book so I hope you enjoy this book too!

Summary: The Carnvious Carnival
Review: This book is about 3 kids named Klaus,Violet, andSunny who are trying to find out if one of their parents are alive. On the way they have to desguise their selves as two freaks. One two headed freak, and a half wolf-half baby. Then at the end. Opps! I better not tell you about the rest of the story or you'll know to much. In the end they don't find out if one of their parents is alive. The Baudelaires learn that Count Olaf is evil. The charecters change by turning into freaks for a while. I think the moral of the story is you don't miss something until it's gone. I like this book because I think it's adventurous. In fact, on a scale of 1 to 5 I would give it a ten. I recomend this book to ages 8 and up.

Summary: FREAKS!!!!
Review: Lemony Snicket sure rocks the carnival with this book, possibly my favorite in his series. The book keeps you in utter suspense, with new freaky people(a man that can write with both hands, beware!) and thoughts like, "Will Count Olaf find the Baudilairs?" and "Will Madame LuLu betray them?". This book is full of misery, woe, unhappy endings, middles and beginnings. I urge never to pick up this book, even for the reason of seeing if I've told the truth.

Summary: seasons of summer-fantasy books
Review: I, for one, think that this is a really great book. If anyone doesn't enjoy this the they REALLY don't appreciate true literature. The only thing wrong with this series is that after 8 books you get to wondering....when is this book going to end?
I mean, it CAN'T end badly.Sooner or later they've got to find their parents!

Summary: Good
Review: I love this series of books. Got hooked on them about 2 years ago. This is a vital part of the Baudelaire(sp) children's ongoing tale. Readers finally get a little needed information, like what V.F.D. (hopefully) stands for. Definatly the darkest story of the series, but teaches wonderful lessons along the way. There is still that same humor, like Sunny's translations, and i can't wait for the next book!
