Gone for Good

Summary: Excellent audiobook, beginning to end!
Review: After two klunkers, I needed a good audiobook to restore my faith in modern American publishing. Thank goodness for Gone For Good! I knew from the first few paragraphs that this well-written story would hold my attention, and it did, with just enough suspense, doubts, and twists. I remember thinking the last chapter would be a simple "They all lived happily ever after" conclusion; I didn't know there were still several twists in store for me. If I have any complaints, it would be that although I liked the Squares character, he was just a little too convenient and omnipotent in his ability to rescue Will again and again.

The narrator did a great job, especially giving the secondary characters like Squares and the Ghost their own recognizable identities. I recommend this audiobook to anyone, but especially anyone who needs their faith restored that there still are good stories, good writers, and good books getting published!
