Summary: A Fresh Voice!
Review: Great book! Caroline Casey has an intuitional gift for understanding and sharing the unique language of astrology. She begins the book by giving life to each of the planets so that one feels each as fully developed personalities living in the environment of the natal chart. No need to rely on mere memorization for their meanings and associated attributes. they come alive and begin to interact before your mind's eye. Then she methodically takes you through the structure of the chart in a way that feels more like a tour through an old historic home and leaves a distinct visual memory behind. Her interpretations of the Sun signs, for example, are not flat or one-dimensional, but she speaks in terms of the psyche so that one feels of the sign, it's originating impulse, it's tendency for expression and it's possible weakness. She addresses transits and what the outer planets have to tell us about world events. I found esp fascinating her explanation of the astrological influences which manifested as the decade of the sixties and how current transits are birthing/reflecting the issues of concern in society today. Her narration is warm and personable, filled with color, analogy and humor. I learned more in just one sitting with this audio-book than I have in the last few years reading various astrology how-tos. There is so much here, this is going to be a valuable reference. Inspirational! BUY THIS ONE !!!
