Rating: Summary: Book Four: The Best Potter Yet? Review: Reading JK Rowling's latest Potter (Harry Potter and the Gobletof Fire) is like meeting up with an old friend. It all feels sofamiliar but don't be fooled by nostalgia. The first chapter is a chilling reminder that evil lurks and Harry had better watch his back... Readers won't be disappointed but they will be shocked by some events. Rowling sweeps you into Harry's magical world once more, making you feel as if you never really left. END
Rating: Summary: Goblet of Fire is exciting Review: I'm more 30 years older than the kids this book is written for, yet I can't help but get swept away by it. I can understand why kids want to read these books over and over--the characters, plot and scenery are vividly written. If you can afford it, consider buying a second Goblet of Fire as a gift for your neighborhood library which, I'm sure, will have a tremendously long waiting list of children wanting to read this book and the earlier volumes.
Rating: Summary: Hogwarts at it's best Review: I just finished this book, and it's amazing. Harry has someinteresting adventures with Voldemort and (I really was scared aboutthe part during) the triwizard tourny. I couldn't put this book down it was so good. I finished it in 2 days. A very good book and an awesome read for all ages. Even adults and small children!
Rating: Summary: THIS JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER! Review: WOW! I am currently up to page 605 in the book and I just can't put it down! How I managed to tear myself away from it I DON'T KNOW! The Goblet of Fire has it all! I suggest that anyone who is a fan of the series GO OUT AND BUY IT! Even if your not a fan...BUY IT! There is just too many spectacular things in the 4th installment of the Harry Potter series for me to write down...from the Quiddich World Cup to the Triwizard Tournament to all the 3 tasks to the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to all the many new and old characters you meet! ITS BRILLIANT! However...from what I've heard...there is a casualty in the book...whom I don't know as of yet but I am dreading the part in which I find out! But at the same time I don't want to put the book down! OY! GET THIS BOOK! You WON'T be disappointed
Rating: Summary: super Review: This is the longest book in the whole series. As you read it, you feel like you don't want to stop and you want to read more. As you finish the book, it leaves you to imagine what Harry's summer will be like. Some books you finish and you say,"Well that was okay," and you don't give the book a second thought but with the fourth Harry Potter book, you just keep playing and replaying parts of the story in your head until you finally decide to just read the whole thing again. I haven't done that yet but I will.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Reading! Review: The Goblet of fire surpasses all previous Harry Potter adventures. This seven-hundred page book is riddled with excitement, humor, and danger. It is enjoyable, and a bit addictive. I highly reccoment this excellent book.
Rating: Summary: Magic Mania Review: I think that the 4th Harry Potter book is wonderful! I read it straight, because I couldn't put it down. It was amazing, from the description of the characters to the plot. I couldn't believe that someone had actually made this up and put it down on paper. When you read the Harry Potter books you have a hard time not believing it is real. After I was done with it I was in shock. This is a wonderful book and I recommend it to everyone that can read! READ THIS BOOK!
Rating: Summary: Potter's back - and better than ever! Review: This time around Harry's a little older, and a lot wiser. For the first time we see him have something of a love interest (and we become interested in something brewing between Harry's two closest friends?). The plot is amazingly elaborate and quite unpredictable; as always, this book has been enchanted with a bit of magic that won't let the reader put it down. It is funny, touching, and downright scary. I won't divulge any secrets, but here's a hint: more people than Harry are speaking You-Know-Who's real name! Altogether, a wonderful (and not-so-quick!) read - fly, don't walk, to buy this book!
Rating: Summary: The Best Harry Potter Yet Review: This book is simply the best book I have ever read! All the things you want to see happen do happen! J.K. Rowling is simply a mastermind at showing the complex personalities and traits of all the characters. If you buy this book you won't be disappointed! Please buy it! It's wonderful!
Rating: Summary: Really good book Review: I think that this book is very good. It is different from the others which were very similar. This book were a lot deeper than the others which is what I like. I did miss quidditch a lot but that was o.k. I also would have preffered a longer world cup but the bok was long enough as it was. It was suspensfull enough that I that I read the whole thing in 16 hours or so. (I finished at about 3:30 in the morning.) Well anyway it was very good and I would reccomened it to most people. While younger children(under 10) would defanately understand it, older children will appriciate it much more.
