  Summary: emotions and farries
Review: I know, I know, it's about a kid, who's in the mafia. That's what I thought when I picked it up. I got an advanced copy and I was like "Who is Artemis Fowl? What? There are other books to this? And they are POPULAR? You're kidding me right?" I was reluctantly reading it for the first few pages, but then I was reading it cause I liked it. Artemis Fowl is about this genius who's parents are both having problems. His father is in the hospital (in a coma) and his mother was going crazy because she missed her husband. Artemis decided it was up to him to support his family and he thought he had the perfect idea of how to do it. He invents something called "The C Cube" which can do all kinds of cool stuff. It was a one of a kind item that Artemis had made from the helmet of a faerie (Faerie technology is ahead of ours by... a LOT). It ends up being stolen and then Artemis needs to get it back. So it's basically about that. I loved the book and thought it was hilarious at parts. As soon as I finished this book I went right out and bought the first two and guess what. I loved those too! I'm just hoping that there will be another book!

I'd say the Artemis Fowl series is MUCH better than the Harry Potter series. Yeah, Harry Potter is good, but I'd say this is better.
