Summary: Awesome
Review: I loved this book, but of course, I love historical fiction. I read it in like 48 hours because I just got into it. Afterwards, I had to go out and buy like 5 more books, researching different things he mentioned that interested me. Dan Brown knows his stuff! Definately recommended, all my friends love it too!

Summary: Mystery, Suspense, and Speculation
Review: I LOVED this book, so much I purchased all the author's other works. The best part about this book is that all the research and secrets are true! Many other reviewers have noted the similiarities to Holy Blood, Holy Grail, but even the author himself quotes from the book. He's not trying to restate what others have said, but map his story around the subject. Intense and intriguing, a great read.

Summary: Absolutely amazing
Review: i loved this book, usually i'm not into suspense, but this really knocked off my socks. I could not put the book down for a second. And I'm a college student taking a full class load. It was just amazing. I highly recommend it to people who beleive there is more out there that we don't know, and want to see all the different things that most people never realize. The research that went into this book was incredible, and made me really understand how much work goes into a book like this one. A must read for all levels of readers.

Summary: The DaVinci Code
Review: I loved this book. I could not put it down. I read many online reviews and cannot believe people are getting caught up in the fact that it's not all based on fact, etc. This book is FICTION!
There are many things BASED on facts, but it's FICTION! Enjoy it for what it is and you're in for a wonderful read! I was hoping the ending would not disapoint me and I was thrilled that it didn't. It's a must read for those who love to read for the enjoyment of it.

Summary: da vinci code rocks
Review: I loved this book. It's fascinating and suspensful from beginning to end. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. My curiosity is peaked about art as it relates to the history of the Catholic church, symbology, and specifically the mystery of the Sangreal. What more do you want from a mystery suspense thriller?

Summary: A light in the darkness
Review: I loved this book. Not only are you getting an exciting suspense thriller you're getting information that can only light a darkened hallway of new choice in religion and history. This book will thrill you and educate you.

Summary: A book that does what it is supposed to
Review: I loved this book. Why? Because it did what a book is supposed to do. It was entertaining, and took my mind off the "real" world for a time. That is what a book is supposed to do and this one does just that.

However, it also made me do some research...a book that makes you think...now there is a novel idea!

I did research on DaVinci, and looked at his art and writings in a whole new light. I also did research on the various other Churches and socities mentioned...by doing that I learned some quite valuable history. I have barely scratched the surface of what I intend to learn from this book, and I look forward to researching even more.

Thank you Mr. Brown for giving me an opportunity to LEARN.

Summary: I highly recommend this novel.
Review: I loved this novel. The author Dan Brown put so much research into the events, documents, religions, art work, and factual information so the readers could receive accurate information. The description given in the story made me feel as if I were there, whitnessing all of the action. This novel is thrilling and suspensful up through the very end. Many people recommended this to me and after reading it I definitely recommend this to you.

Summary: So this is what Professor Jones has been up to lately....
Review: I made the mistake of reading too many reviews about this book before sitting down to read it myself and that's a mistake I won't make again. This book is one fine piece of entertainment! While reading it I couldn't help but be reminded of the movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark." This book is that same sort of mixture of fun, adventure, lots of cliffhangers, codes, mysteries and a few conspiracies thrown in for good measure. Just as in the Raiders movie, I did not know whether any of the biblical references, etc. would hold up in court nor did it really matter to my enjoyment of the film. I don't believe in the theory that the Holy Grail actually refers to Mary Magdalene or that she and Jesus were married but it made for an interesting twist to this novel.

I would also like to add that I am Catholic and found nothing offensive about this book. At most, the author intimates that the Catholic Church is an organization with its fair share of fanatics, secrets and power struggles but that is true of all religious groups. This is certainly nothing new. I actually thought the author was very respectful, especially in his portrayal of Bishop Aringarosa.

Again, a major part of this book's appeal for me was the word games and the search for answers to the cryptic codes. I'm looking forward to the sequel!
