Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must-read for all those Holy Blood, Holy Grail aficionados
Review: This book was fun to read. Even though people who read the kind of books mentioned by the characters in this novel already know all this stuff, it was great to see it used in a novel.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A fun and fast read
Review: This book was great fun. Once I started reading I was hard pressed to put the book down. The action starts immediately and throughout it all, I was learning a lot about quite a few subjects.

The characters are drawn broadly, but they are believable and distinct from one another. There are all types peppered throughout.

Most readers will enjoy this one.

Summary: Intelligent and Fun Read
Review: This book was great. The mysteries in the book will keep you reading well into the night. It's very fast paced and exciting to read. The facts are well mingled with this fiction and are blended to keep you thinking about the book even after it's through.

Summary: Amazing Read
Review: This book was great. There. All of my thoughts put into five words. It was so good that I managed to finished of in two days. Whats more, I was only able to do that with the Harry Potter books. Every one should read it.

Summary: Poorly Written Book
Review: This book was highly recommended to me and I couldn't wait to read it. I could barely make it through. While the symbology and art aspects are interesting, it was very poorly written. Lousy character development. The plot started out good, but completely fell apart. I suspect that people who love to hate the Catholic Church and the Vatican are the ones enjoying this book. I'm amazed it's so popular.

Summary: Interesting History Lesson- Pathetic Mystery Story
Review: This book was obviously written with the film rights in mind. it starts out with a somewhat interesting premise, but rapidly becomes completely unbelievable. The detectives and prime suspect all do things that strain my ability to suspend disbelief beyond the breaking point. The history and explanation of the hidden codes were interesting, but could probably be explained better in a straightforward and scholarly book better. The story started out unbelivable and got worse from there.

Summary: And I learned stuff too!
Review: This book was one not to put down. It was the first of Dan Brown's books I have read, and I guarantee it will not be the last. The way in which the author weaves in facts and historical theories is amazing. I enjoyed the story and learned a lot too. Perhaps Mr. Brown should try writing texts books, I guarentee students would retain a lot more knowledge if he did!

Summary: The Epitomy of a Page-Turner
Review: This book was one of the few great books that I have read lately. It was the perfect combination of mystery, thriller, and historical fiction. The fact that the book is written in real time adds to the excitement. The different points of view that you experience gives you just the right amount of information...explaining things and yet withoulding enough to keep you guessing. I couldn't put this down and with my busy life the fact that I read this in 2 days really says a lot.
